Good morning.

Morning, all!

Yesterday turned out to be a crappy day! I tried to work on the medical coding, but it was so confusing and there was no one to call on for help, that I got really frustrated. Doesn't help that I suffer from SAD, or that I'm missing my mom something horrible! Oh well, today has to be better, right?

I ended up just crawling back in bed by about 5:00 yesterday afternoon, and just staying there. I don't think Alan really understood why, but he let me do it.

Today, I'm getting everyone ready for church, and who knows what we'll do after that. I'm trying really hard not to let this depression cripple me. I've been there, and it's no fun for anyone, so I'm trying to push myself into doing something I don't particularly want to do.

Have a good day everyone!

Glynis...if you have SAD, you should really invest in one of those lights. They do work....hang in there!

Glynis, I've been there and totally understand! Keep trying to push yourself through it. Get out and get some sunlight if at all possible.

I'm sorry yesterday was such a rotten day, Glynis. I can't say I officially have SAD, but I do know rotten weather affects my mood. I agree with Kristine...invest in a sunlamp. I hope you feel better soon!

Jen, I bet your weekend has been awesome! :cheer2:

Hello to all! :wave2: Is everyone staying warm?!! Think spring! :sunny:

I took three kids to the pediatrician on Friday...two who I thought were healthy (Noah was due for his 18-month well check-up and Matty needed his staples removed). It turns out, Noah and Matty have double ear infections and even though Alyssa's "wet cough" has been hanging on, the doctor said to give that another week.

Matty was a real trooper about getting his staples removed, and he's still not showing any signs of his ears bothering him. His high pain threshold is sometimes alarming. We must have caught the beginning of Noah's though, because he started running a high fever yesterday. Now they're both on Omnicef, and Noah has managed to double the laundry in just two days, thanks to blow-outs.

I had a quick OB check-up on Thursday and all is well. My appointments are now in 2 week increments...Sammy will be here soon!

Alyssa wants to sell Girl Scout cookies door-to-door today. It's about 15 degrees. Brrr!

Enjoy your Sunday, DDA!

How did you get there? We won't have a car. Is there a bus to there?

We had a car. It is kindof in the MK parking lot. I don't remember if there is a bus or not :confused3 Call The Richard Petty Driving Experience and ask them.

I just forced myself to go in and chaulk the entire bathroom. I absolutely Hate doing it, but it had to be done. Now I can say that the bathroom is 100% done and it only took me 8 days:lmao: Oh well, one thing off my to do list.

Chris just got home and Colby had a good day snowboarding. Much better than last week :cool1: Of course the Pats are not doing well. Between my unfortunate use of words while chaulking and the ones that Chris are yelling at the TV I'm afraid the boys may have learned some new words today:eek::sad2::sad2:

Wow. Sammy will be here soon :goodvibes
:wizard::wizard:I hope the kids feel better quickly, expecially the little squirt(er)

Glynis have you considered tanning. I know a lot of people with SAD and they tell me that if they go tanning once a week it really helps their moods. I actually have some tanning visits left from before our Mexico trip and I'm planning to use them when I feel blue this winter. So far I've been too busy to be blue, but it will happen, it always does.

   I hope today was better. Any chance you got out in the sunshine at all today? That always helps me.

Vicki there is a shuttle bus at the ticket & transportation center that will take you to the RPDE. Gary & his brother did this when we went in 07.

Glynis I know how you feel, winters are really bad for me. Hope you get lots of sunshine soon :goodvibes

Jen hope you had a great weekend!

Elin yay for the April trip!

Amy hope all the kiddos feel better soon, glad to hear you & Sammy are doing fine!

It is still brrr cold here, but we might get above freezing by next weekend :thumbsup2

Glynis - I'm sorry that yesterday was such a rough day. I hope today is better.

Jen - Glad you trip has been great! Have a safe trip home.

Deb - Yeah for a good night at work and for getting the bathroom done!

Amy - Hope the kiddos are feeling better ASAP!

Thanks, everyone, for your concern. I really do need to invest in a sunlamp. I know it would help! Luckily, we did have sun today, so I spent some time sitting in a pool of sun in my front room. I feel a lot better today! Alan made me breakfast, and it included hot chocolate, and that ALWAYS makes me feel better!

Alan also made dinner: chicken parmesan, with brown rice. Yummy! We are going to eat, then make hot fudge sundaes, and watch "Race to Witch Mountain." Should be fun!

Jen - Glad you made it home safely! I'm so glad it was a nice weekend!

Deb - Good job on the bathroom! Cross that job off proudly! Who cares if it took you 8 days to do it. The point is that it got done!

Thanks for the well-wishes! I'm hoping this week, we can really get back into a routine since Alyssa had 3 of her 5 days of school cancelled and Matty had 2 of his 3 days cancelled. Big warm up coming Thursday...the 40's! :teeth:

Tammi, welcome home!

Hope you had a wonderful birthday in WDW, despite the cold weather.

:bday:party::cake:party::bday:

I finally selected a hotel for our last 3 nights in Orlando. We will be staying at Quality Suites the Royal Parc suites. I was able to get a 2 bedroom suite with free breakfast, free internet and free shuttle to SeaWorld for $98 per night. I think it will be nice to spread out and I don't want to borrow DVC points from next year. I think this will work nicely for us.
