My boss (who is more my friend, than my boss) just called me. She said, "Doesn't Disney do a Flower and Garden Festival in the spring?" When I confirmed this she said, "Let's go!" So, when I get done on here I am going to plan a girls only trip for her, another co-worker and myself!!! :yay:

My dates are arriving March 4th leaving March 10th. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Now I will have my DGS with me, but we could still meet up for something!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I'm heading off to work soon. They needed an extra bartender tonight. I cannot see it being busy this time of year, but we will see. At least I make more than minimum wage for bartending:thumbsup2

But we won't be going until after Easter. :(

She and I are the co-chairs for our Sonata/Sonatina Festival on March 13, and then we need to get away from the Spring Break crowd. We are looking at the weekend of April 16-19 or 23-26.

I think both of those weekends will be very busy due to school vacation week here in MA. I would think 23-26 might be a bit better.

I finally went through all the receipts from our December trip-we charged everything back to the room so I had to figure out what Dorinda owed me for tips and OOP expenses. We had all the receipts except one snack credit. We started out very well marking down what we would have paid but got sloppy when I got sick. Estimated the last couple of days worth of counter service and snack credits we got about $1,250 worth of food from the dining plan. Now we wouldn't have eaten all that if we didn't have the plan BUT we only paid $1,050 for the room for the 4 of us AND we also got 4 one day tickets so I would say we did very well!!!

Tomorrow is Joe's 9th birthday. He wanted a carrot cake so we got that today and DH went and picked up some filet mignon that he also requested. I got him a DVD writer that hooks right up to his Sony camcorder so he should love that. Also got him a book on Walt Disney and 2 Sherman Brother CD's.

Emma's autograph book that I made on Kodak came yesterday. It looks great! Only problem is I was told by the IPO staff that the LTT breakfast would be Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale. Now I'm hearing it is Pluto not Goofy. I guess that is OK as she likes Pluto better. I may print a photo of Pluto or he can sign the book elsewhere.

Chuck & I might be taking advantage of this during our trip. :cool1:

Tia- Yay for new charges!!! I have an interview Tuesday at a preschool/daycare center for Senior Staff. I am hoping it pans out!

Good to see you, Robyn!! Good luck with your interview.

thank God for insurance.

The estimate on my van is a little over 3,000.00
I forgot to take pics of my van.

Yikes! Glad there's insurance for most of it.

Well I did it. We are booked, have our seats and I can offically start planning.:cool1::cool1:

And that is the one we are leaning toward. I figured the farther away we could get from Easter, the better. We are going to have to deal with Grad Nights at the MK on Friday and Saturday night, but I think we will be OK with that. We can go in there on Sunday night.

Jen, you just might be Superbowl bound. Enjoy!!!!:cool1::dance3::cheer2:

Our Schools have April Vacation April 16-25. I think most of the New England Schools are off then. I've been that week before and it was definitely crowded.

Chuck & I might be taking advantage of this during our trip. :cool1:

We purchased that for Chris and my Brother 2 summer's ago and they loved the ride along. That is a wonderful perk. Definitely give it a try.

Work was good for me tonight. Not super busy, but I had a late rush of people just drinking and watching the big game so I made out much better than normal. Of course I got out of work much later than normal too

I am going to see "The Nutcracker" this afternoon! :rotfl:

One of the ballet company performances was snowed out last month, so this is the weekend. Since I was already going to be in WDW and miss their December performances, my students who are dancing in this one are delighted that I will be able to see them.
