Tammi,
I just thought of another cool thing about the driod phone. You can access internet from anywhere so when we were looking for hidden mickey's it helped to google Steve Barretts HM site. There's a hidden Baloo in Africa in AK that we just could not find..googled the HM site & was able to spot it. My kids are crazy for hidden mickey's.
A good reason why the Droid is a must. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the project linus info Deb. Our dates are July 18-20. I have ADRs at FF on the 18th, CMC for dinner on the 19th and CMC for bfast. If anyone is interested in joining any of those, let me know!

DDA friends... I just got this message from Glynis. Please keep Timothy in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Could you please let the DDA know that we are at the hospital with Timothy? We brought him in yesterday around 5:00. He has pneumonia, RSV, a double eye infection, a double ear infection and thrush. We are hoping to go home later today, but they are watching he oxygen levels, heart rate, and are pumping full of IV fluids and antibiotics. We sure could use any prayers and pixie dust floating around.
Keeping them in my prayers!

Sorry but whats CMC? Maybe we can join you for FF on the 18th?

Hope to soon read and update on Timothy. :grouphug::grouphug:

Hugs for Hunter and Abi and all the other kids that are under the weather. :grouphug:

I have the stomach flu. Yuk. Missed my board meeting. Not a good day at all.

Okay, random question. If you were to read the quote below. What age/grade child would you expect it to be about? (The things in parentheses are the words I added to remove the numbers that were there.)

Just trying to see how off base I am. Thanks!

Without the last sentence I would say 6th grade. However, with the last sentence I'm thinking maybe 3rd or 4th.

Welcome to the age of coddling! I would say that the first calendar you gave out *should* be all that was needed. Evidently not.

Unfortunately, they are "teaching" their children that they don't have to be responsible for themselves because the parents are setting a bad example. It amazes me how many people try to get away with I didn't know (even though it is clearly written on something you know they were supposed to read), You didn't remind me (didn't know it was my job), etc. It drives me nuts!

Oh no! Prayers & pixie dust for Timothy! Get well soon, little one!

I hope that Hunter & Abi & anyone else that isn't feeling well are back to their old selves soon! :grouphug:

My guess would be late elementary (4th grade or so) but this is the Dis so it's probably an 8th grader or kindergardner:rotfl:
And just so I can say I can outboast this mom...Abi has always read at least 4 grades above level until she topped out the charts in the 4th grade:rotfl:

Several were close. The girl is a few weeks older than Terra, just turned 7. She's in 2nd grade as they put her in private kindergarten so that she could start K at 4 1/2. When we were in playgroups together the mom was always going on and on about the girl's developments and "accomplishments". When Terra almost walked before her daughter (they walked a week apart, and late at that at almost 15 months) I thought she might lose it.

Tia are troop leader set up a yahoo group for our troop. On yahoo groups she has it set to send us reminders for the meetings. Maybe you could try that. She also has the calendar posted of when we are going camping, etc.

We may have to try that next time around.

Oh no!! I hope to see a positive update soon. Until then our prayers are flying!

Hunter is home sick today. He has a cough, sore throat and stuffy nose. It's been coming for days, but he is tired and feeling icky so home it is. He also has a headache which puts me on the edge. I'm sure it is the cold, but you know how it goes after what we went through.

Lots of :hugs: and prayers for you guys too. I'm sure it's the cold, but I can understand how you might feel.

I am sure you are and will be on edge with headaches for a while to come. Abi stayed home today also and I think, just to be safe, she will be home the rest of the week...what's the point of going in just Friday? (she is still complaining of queasiness and general tiredness)

I'm glad she's doing better. The extra rest can only do her good.

Hope to soon read and update on Timothy. :grouphug::grouphug:

Hope you're on the mend quickly too!

That's definitely a fear of mine. That's why we'll be working more and more on the girls being responsible for themselves and their schedule as they get older.

August park hours "should" be out on February 1.

Right now we are trying to finalize a summer date but I would love to meet up with you & your family. My tentative dates are 7/18-7/30.

The first week of August is up now. I know that I shouldn't know these things, since I don't have a trip planned, but...

Oh fun! I think that's the phone I'm going to get when our taxes come back. They're already showing as pending in our bank acct. :cool1:

I've seen so many people with their taxes done. We're still waiting on most of our "important tax documents." I hope that they are here soon. We don't even have the ones from our employers yet.

pixiedust: to everyone who isn't feeling well. I hope you are all better soon!

Deb, I understand the concern with Hunter's headache. I am sure it is just a headache.

Dh hasn't been 100% for a week now with mostly cold symptoms. He also pulled a muscle in his leg and is hobbling around.

I will have to see what our plans are for that day. I definitely want to get together tough. I'm sure my kids will love your kids.

Other than some raging hormones, I'm feeling pretty good, thanks! :goodvibes

It only took 2 1/2 months, but I finally posted some Disney photos on FB. I think this link will work...

Your kids are all adorable, but a couple of the ones of Noah just melted my heart. He reminds me a lot of my boys.

I checked earlier today, I'll have to check again.

We're still waiting on documents too.

I was really hoping to find an update on Timothy. We are praying for him.

I hope that Beth and Janets DHs are feeling better as well as Abi.

Hunter has a cough tonight. I gave him some Delsym and he has fallen asleep. I plan to set my alarm and give him a dose of dimetap and ibuprophen at 5 AM. He's not running a fever and didn't seem too sick once he got going today. Hopefully if I get ahead of the symtoms he will wake up feeling good.

We're just about there. I just need my two from the church. For some reason, Mother's Day Out and MOPS are two separate accounts, paychecks and W-2s. Luckily, it's local so we should have them by Monday easily. Don't they know I have big plans for that money!
