Deb - I'm sorry that everything is still in limbo. You all are in my prayers.

I really hate Pittsburgh. Everytime I go up there, there is something falling out of the sky. Rain/snow showers are forcast for each day.

Deb - I hope the MRI goes well. :wizard:

Heidi - Pixie IS cute. Even DS likes her. Well, he doesn't particularly like to HOLD her, but he likes to entertain her if she is on the activity mat on the floor. :)

Tammi - I don't hold her all the time. But I am typically holding her while I read the DIS. So I lurk. The rest of the time I am doing laundry, bottles, or driving Miss Princess. Luckily I have kind of found my groove because Momboss only has this week and next week before she goes back to work! I am off until Monday so maybe I will post more for the next few days.

My mom had planned to come down this week, but she called this AM and said they aren't coming after all. DS is disappointed.

9 days until our trip! :yay: Yes, I am packed. But it may require tweaking due to weather conditions.

Deb continued good thoughs.

The news wasn't as we had hoped today. The EEG showed abnormal activity on the left side of his brain which is not consistant with the diagnosis of Juvenile Epilepsy. His current diagnosis is complex partial epilepsy which essentially means that he has both grand and petit seizures of unknown origin. They put him on a med to stop the seizures. We pray that this works, but we also must figure out what is causing the seizures. The possibilities run from nothing to life threatening. Telling a 12 year old that it might be life threatening is NOT a good idea. He was so upset. The second doctor had much better bedside manner and was quite assuring that he did not think it was anything life threatening and if he did he would get it on the table now. In any event we have an MRI scheduled for 8:50 tonight. Hopefully tomorrow morning we can eliminate brain tumor and brain abnormalities from possible causes :wizard: Meanwhile, we are mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. Hunter and I are hoping to get a nap in now since we have no idea what time we will get home tonight. Please continuing praying for Hunter. On a positive note this form of epilepsy may not effect him for the rest of his life, but there is no way to know how long it will effect him.

Jen -- do you still have my cell number? Randy and the boys love early on Friday to go to his family's little property in West Texas to do guy things. I'll be around and able to help if you need anything!
Thanks--I do still have your number. We are actually leaving early Friday afternoon which i am so bummed about! Our plan as of now is landed Wednesday night, going ot the hotel to eat and go to bed early. Thursday, we are going to the Ice exhibit thing at the hotel then going to the game early--the guy that went to the game last week found some people to tailgate with ! After the game, were going to head back to the hotel to watch the next football game in the sports bar (with a 50 foot tv with reclining chairs!!). Friday we are getting up early to do the stadium tour and then head home..a quick trip but im so excited!

Deb-Im keeping your family in my prayers. We are here for you if you need us!

Deb -:hug::hug: Wish there were more I could do, many prayers and pixue dust are headed your way

Thanks for all the prayers. I really wish you all lived closer too. I could certainly use a shoulder or couple dozen shoulders to cry on right about now.

I am sorry that you did not have an conclusive answer. :wizard::hug: to you and your family.

Um, I could leave tomorrow after work and be there by night time. I do not have to be back at work till Monday.

My life continues to be busy. I am excited as I only have a half day of work tomorrow.

Free Shutterfly photo book, you do need to pay for shipping.

Hope you are all having a great day!

We're home. He did fabulous. I don't think that I could have laid that still for so long. The worst part for him was the IV. He has a huge phobia of needles so getting him through that is a challenge, but once the IV was in he plowed through it. Hopefully tomorrow will bring good results. I'm not sure if I could handle bad news.

Deb, I have no words. Just know that I am thinking about your family and hoping and praying for the very best news possible.:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

I'm not sure how much computer time I'll have at my mom's house, so I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! May you all have a blessed holiday!

Amy :)

Deb good thoughts for you all today

Amy have a safe trip & Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Jen have a wonderful time!

Good morning, DDA!

Deb - I hope you get some answers this morning. :wizard: :grouphug:

Jen - Have a great trip!

I could use some happy car pixie dust over here. When I took Phil to work this morning my car had a pretty yucky gas smell. It seems to be coming from under the hood. When dad gets up I'll have him take a look at it, but I really need it to be something quick and easy (and cheap!). We're already without Mom's car until the money for her new radiator comes together after Christmas. A costly repair to mine would be an even bigger mess.

Good morning. :)

Jen - have fun!

Tia - I hope the car smell turns out to be nothing. :wizard:

Deb - more :wizard: for you all.

Amy - safe travels.

We leave this morning to go to my parents. I hope to be on the road by 10.
