We had dinner at Tutto Italia for dinner & it was fabulous!!! The F&WF was great, we tried foods from Poland, Ireland, Bolognia Italy, & more. We really enjoyed the festival this year & even the kids were adventurous & tried various new foods. We left before Illuminations as we were all pretty tired.

10/31 Halloween

Today we did something that we have never done before, we took off a day from the parks!:scared1: It actually turned out to be a very relaxing day but it was very hard for me to not enter a park.

We had breakfast at the Grand Floridian. The food was just ok & I would not book this again. However the Mad Hatter was very funny & spent some time with my kids. His voice was perfect to the character too.

Katie has been saving her allowance for months & months for something cool to buy & she finally found it at a shop at the GF.

The kids just wanted to swim today so we spent most of the day at the pool. They had Halloween crafts & tattoos at the pool.

Anne Marie - I saw your thread on the CB. If you get the Droid, let me know how you like it. I'm not due for my upgrade until the spring, but I'm dying to get it!

Tonight was dinner at the California Grill. This was our official anniversary dinner. We were seated right away & watched the sunset from our table. It was beautiful..even the kids were quiet as we just watched the sun dissappear. The food was wonderful & our our server was very attentive. After dinner we went to the observation deck to look around. My kids were actually nervous up there so we only went out for a few minutes.

We got them this morning. So far its alot of fun. The navigator is great as it's provided by Google. No need for a separate navigator & it comes with the phone (no extra monthly charge). The screen & resolution are great. I cannot get my email on it yet, I have to look at the tutorial online. I was able to DIS at the eye dr today while waiting for Katie which was so cool.

I managed to have it 2 hours before I dropped it in the driveway & scratched it up but it works fine.

I haven't read the thread but I think I would like one of them too. But I am not due for a new phone until next fall! :rotfl:

Nov 1 -Our last full day at Disney.

The crowds were so low this trip that we were able to roam around & ride what we wanted during most of the morning. We went to MK in the morning & Epcot for the evening.

We made it to MK just before opening & the CM's were handing out pixie dust for the kids to sprinkle when the park opening countdown was at 0.

Thanks! I wonder if they'll let me renew early. :confused3

:thumbsup2 Another chance to enjoy the F&WF at Epcot. Of course my kids wanted to do Kim Possible so we did the adventures in France & England.

While the kids were running all over England, Dana enjoyed an adult beverage.

Taylor Hick's was performing at the Theater in America. We sat & listened to him & he was very good in person.

We left & made it back to the CR to watch the last showing of Hallowishes from the room.

Well we had a long drive the next day so we went to bed with the intention of leaving right after breakfast. Contempo Cafe was great for breakfast...the coffee was good & so were the danish..very fresh! So as we were chatting over breakfast I said "how about we pop over to HS since we didn't get over there this trip? Maybe just pop in to ride TSM & then leave.";) All agreed & I made sure they all knew that we wouldn't get home until late & they had school the next day, The kids said lets go for it so we did. We checked out of the Contemporary hoping to return again soon..what a resort! So much fun & super convenient!

So we get into HS, ride TSM 2 times (wait was about 20 minutes) We did get FP's but they were not until 1:45pm & we would not be able to stay that long so we gave them to a family at Pizza Planet (yes we stayed until 1pm for lunch!:rotfl:) So much for quickly popping in to ride TSM. Dana took the kids to the Great Movie Ride & I ran over to ToT (Walk on!! Score!!!) 4 drops & lots of hang time..sweet! We regrouped & watched the Streetmosphere players for awhile & they came over to us asking us about our anniversary buttons & congratulating us. Now it was really time to go. We left & hit the road for our 10 hour drive home.

This trip was one of the best & we were all very sad to leave. October is such a great time to go.:thumbsup2 We meet many friendly CM's & guests. I guess people are a lot less cranky when they are not dripping in sweat like in the summer months.

The End

Greetings from Tallahassee, we had a very uneventful trip which was nice.

Thanks for all the well wishes, today definitely wasn't pain free, but I am well prepared for it

It's pretty chilly out there, and of course I packed my jacket, hopefully it will be a bit warmer in Disney

Loved the report Anne Marie

Anne Marie - Loved your TR and pictures!

Debbie - Glad to hear you made it to your stopping point. I hope it is not raining!! ;)

Anne marie-thanks so much for sharing the trip with us--i really enjoyed hearing about it and seeing the pictures!

Walmart has Harry Potter and the half blood prince for pre-order for $10 with free shipping plus tax. Amazon also has this deal as well. They also have Santa Buddies for $10. plus a few others.

I am contemplating going down the 4th or 7th of Dec but do not know when I would be returning. Who knows what I will decide. If I go I most likely would be staying at a friends.

Tonight is cast preview of the Christmas parade on Main Street. It started about a half an hour ago.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Good morning. :)

Nicholas had a friend sleep over last night. They were up til almost midnight and then woke around 5! :scared:

Today we are going to the Superbowl. Nicholas wants to go and cheer on the team that they lost to last weekend. He has some friends on that team, so it should be fun. Then Alyssa has Nutcracker rehearsal late this afternoon.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Debbie - drive safely!

Sounds like our sleepover. Connor was out about 11 and the girls about 11:30. Connor and Kassie have been stirring since 6:45. We're hoping to take them to Six Flags today so hopefully they get some more sleep.

Have fun at the game.

Good (too early) morning, DDA! I'm off to get a new battery so that mom can use my car to drive kids for the work day today. It looks like she might need a new radiator so we might be sharing our car for a little while so the money can be gathered for that lovely expense. Argh! Does it ever end?!?!

Later I think we'll hit the last day at Six Flags. Sounds like the perfect plan for a beautiful day when no one has much money right now. Lunch before we go and then a few bucks for soda and cotton candy refills and we're good. Tomorrow, I'm tempted to take a day off, though I'm not sure how that would work.

Good morning!
I have some shopping to do today. I started my christmas shopping last night and wrapped up some stuff (i tend to wrap as i buy). I want to get some more done today so that is the plan. i keep thinking i have plans for tonight but i have no idea what they were--i just remember making plans ! haha
