Just wanted to post a quick hello!

Deb - Sorry that the job didn't work out.

Becky - Hope you can figure out some kind of trip soon!

Elin - Sounds like a great weekend. Enjoy it!

Debbie - Have a good trip! I hope you're feeling better by the time you leave.

We had Mops this morning and now Kaylin is hanging out (okay, napping right now) here for a little bit. I managed to smoke up the kitchen really badly making a microwave dinner for lunch. I guess Kaylin had pushed some buttons (our display doesn't work) and then I added 3 minutes to it and got to doing something else. I didn't realize is was still cooking until the microwave was smoking like crazy. Now the house stinks!

The kids are out of school tomorrow so everyone will be here for the day. Terra is supposed to try and have some additional soccer days, but since my battery is still acting up, I'm not sure we'll make it out there this time. Hopefully, we'll get the car in Saturday morning to get the battery checked and replaced.

Thank you Janet!:)

Nope, no more "Paging Tom Morrow..." Now it is just a guy telling you about the rides you are passing. It had so much character before now its just not the same.

What the heck? Are they stupid or what? I can't imagine them changing that and taking that out.

Good morning DDA! :wave2:

Debbie, I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy your trip. I know I'm worried about Kevin, too. He hasn't been sleeping well at all. :wizard: for both of you!!!

Deb, I'm sorry to hear the job didn't work out.

Welcome home Anne-Marie! I love looking at all your pictures on FB and the thread!

Theresa, lots of  for you!!!

Tammi, glad to hear you had fun at the concert. We have yet to even introduce her to Alyssa, though she's aware of "Hannah Montana." I worry that Miley is going to turn into the next Lindsay Lohan.

Thanks for the compliments on our Halloween pictures! I was happy with my handiwork (especially since I don't own a sewing machine), though Glinda was pretty lackluster, since I ran out of time for my own costume. :teeth:

Thanks for the well wishes, things have much improved since we started treating the TMJ verses the sinus infection, it's still there but the meds keep the pain down to the point I can function with it. I certainly hope Kevin is feeling better by the time you head out, especially with that long drive.

10/29 - This was our MNSSHP night so we wanted to have an "easy" morning. We decided to just go to Epcot Futureworld. Dana & I really wanted to get up to the F&WF but we knew we had to have a break if we & the kids would make it til 12am. I was able to get a last minute lunch ADR for Coral Reef. I have read good & bad reviews but since we have never been there we decided to try it for ourselves & we were glad we did. Dana said that the steak was very good & he ate all of his and half of mine!:lmao:

We were seated on the 2nd tier from the tank & our server was great. The food was delicious & we enjoyed everything.

:cool1: Time for the party!!!! I was so excited about this party. We had been at MNSSHP in 2005 but the kids were little & could not make it til midnight & we missed the parade so we were looking forward to really enjoying this evening. The weather was hot & our costumes were not really made for this weather but it was so much fun to dress up. We had so many people say they loved our costumes which was so nice. Dana was George Washington, Sophie was Hannah Montana, Daniel was a Ninja, Katie was just a festive Halloween trick or treater, & I was a pirate. We saw the 1st parade from Liberty Square (perfect spot!). We saw the fireworks from the rose garden in front of the castle which was not crowded at all (Main street was though) & made our rounds to get candy & see characters. We had so much fun this night & left right before 12. We walked back to the CR to avoid the crowds & made it "home" before the monorail got there.

Deb,
I am glad to hear you are responding to your treatment.

Amy,
:cool1: for the $50 off photopass.

I would love to go during Flower and Garden next year, but will have to wait until 2011 for our 25th anniversary.
Me too, especially since David Cassidy is scheduled to be there.

I go to WDW in 30 days! Four weeks from Saturday I will see a lot of you!! :yay:

And this weekend I am doing two fun things: Saturday we have tickets to see Disney's "A Christmas Carol" at the IMAX theater. And Sunday we are going to the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in DC. Most of the celebs from the Food Network will be there too, as well as good food and wine. I have also managed to turn it into a DIS meet, of sorts too. :) Another beltway-area DISer will be there and we will finally get to meet.
That sounds fun! My kids would like the food thing. We watch Food Channel together all the time. As I type, Nicholas is watching Challenge.

Anne Marie - Thanks for sharing the pictures! I love the Boo to You Parade! Katie is looking more and more like such a young lady. You made a great pirate. And I literally chuckled out loud when I saw George Washington driving on the Indy Speedway! :rotfl:

There was a pumpkin carving contest in the CR lobby. They had ballots out to cast your vote. These were some of them.

I love this one because the big pumpkin is eating her young! :rotfl2:

Hi All

It's been interesting around here. It seems that several viruses are flying through the Upper Valley so people are calling out sick left and right. Tensions are certainly high at work with the new Administrater so the managers are over compensating by micro managing :sad2: I've been having anxiety attacks for good portions of the day the last several days. It is not a good feeling and it is the first time in my life that I've had them. There isn't even a specific thing that is bothering me, just overall stress I guess :confused3 Hopefully this will pass quickly.

On a good note, work was decent tonight :thumbsup2

Let see what I can remember from last night when I was kicked off....

Debbie-good luck with the TJM treaments!:wizard:

Deb-:hug:hope you can find a substitute for your aquatic job soon!

Tammi-sounded like you had a great time at the concert!

Elin-I thought you said you were going to WDW for 30 days not in 30 days. Wishful thinking I guess.;)

Amy-your trip must be getting close! :wizard:Hope Kevin is all better before then!

I bought airfare for May today. I had to change my dates from Sat to Sat to Wed to Wed. It would have been $820.40 for the 2 of us to fly on Saturdays and I couldn't use the miles I have so by switching I ended up with the exact times I wanted and paid $199.20 for me and $5 for Joe (with miles). I've made ADR's for my birthday and booked a Fantasmic package and a breakfast & dinner with Terry but I still have to plot the rest of my days out.

Anne Marie-LOVE your photos! You guys looked awesome for the party!!! I have to agree with you all on the new TTA speil. I haven't had the heart to tell Joe about it. I'm hoping enough folks complain about it. I've heard the new one on you tube and it is awful.:sad2:

Me too, especially since David Cassidy is scheduled to be there.

More importantly (at our house, anyway)... Davy Jones is going to be there again. Kristin and Ashley have already booked their room and airfare! They are making their first "Girls Only WDW Trip!" :goodvibes

Debbie - I am hoping for continued improvement for you! :goodvibes

Deb - Sorry things are in such a mess for you right now.
