Good morning. :)

It's Friday!

Well, for me anyway. ;)

Tammi if its just Amy then my senses are way off base.

Someone left a Halloween goodie bag on the doorknob/step, nocked on the door or rang the bell and ran away fast. There is a note that you have been Boo'ed and to pass it on, so you fill a goodie bag and do the same.

We just had to do that last night! The kids were so excited! They look forward to it every year. They always scout the neighborhood, and find the "perfect" house to BOO. It's a fun thing!

What didn't you like about the book? I finished it about a month ago and I'm still not sure what I think of it. I think that I liked it through a decent portion of the middle, but the beginning was slow and then the end seemed to speed up too quickly and was unsatisfying.

I agree. It just seemed to drag, and the analytical portion of my brain didn't want to accept the time travel thing. I was really unsatisfied with the whole thing.

Well things went from bad to worse at work. So bad that I called the former Director of our division that got a promotion into another division to ask him to help me prepare to start interviewing in other divisions. I'm very unhappy with things right now. This is the guy that got the promotion into the Director job a couple of years ago and I was so upset when it happened. Only to find out he was the best thing that happened to us. He is happy to help me.

Oh, Vickie! I'm so sorry that things are icky at work! I'm glad that he is willing to help you. Here's to something better coming along. What will this do to the situation with your living arrangements?

Heidi - It's not me, although the kids would love it if it was! I've been "sealed off"! Hooray!!!

Debbie - I'm so relieved that you made the appointment. You really need to get it checked out!

Tammi - I forgot to congratulate you on your new schedule. Sounds like it will be better in the long run. Also, congrats on your new flooring! I bet it will look wonderful!

Anne Marie - I probably missed you, but I hope you have a great vacation! You and the kids definitely need this!!!

Theresa - I'm glad you checked in! Sorry things are still going south for you! How did the marching band do? How are the girls?

Tia - Yay, for having the baby and Kristi's kids! I know how that will help!!!

I took my final in medical terminology last night, and passed with 96 percent! I'm pretty proud of myself, as it was HARD!!! Now, I've got to finish the anatomy classes and take that final, and then it will be on to the coding and billing classes. Hopefully, I'll be done with all of it by New Year's and can start working in January!!! Cross your fingers!

As I'm sitting here, I'm listening to the wind pick up outside. We are under a severe winter storm warning, here. It should start to snow any time now, and they are saying it will last all day and into tomorrow. I hope they're wrong, but I don't think they are. Oh well, Fall was nice while it lasted!

I forgot to say "hi" yesterday and "WELCOME HOME!" It's great to see you posting again! Congrats on the new grandbaby!!!! What a great Christmas present!

Hi Glynis....I have missed everyone. Thanks for allowing me to pop-in and catch up. Wow!!....I'm impressed with the classes you are taking. There is no way I could go back to school and maintain my sanity.

Good Luck with the classes.

Good morning, DDA!

Hi...how have you been. I noticed your two tickers at the bottom. Which one have you decided on? I'm not patient so I would probably go with the one in February....cooler and smaller crowds.

I've been good! So glad to see you back again. February was originally the choice, but the baby I watch hasn't been here for a few months due to her mom's layoff so the money has been funnelled elsewhere. It looks like she's found something though so we may be able to eek out February for Terra's birthday (which was the original goal because she really wants to have her birthday at WDW). It we can't make it work by then, then we'll try for my birthday in May. I'm pretty sure we'll be doing May, but am still holding out hope for Terra's sake. I'm definitely with you on the cooler and smaller crowds though. Outside of Christmas season, early Feb is my favorite time to go.

Well, it's definitely the first day of the 180 day ADR booking period. The online booking system is unavailable and the call in line is "all circuits busy".

Our trip is December 26th thru January 2nd. Although I know there will be Christmas crowds but I will take that time of year over any given week during the summer. I did 4 days one time during the month of July and was miserable. Going in December allows us to use the Disney tickets as part of Christmas presents. Plus....although my two young kids are 12 and 15 they still love getting Disney dollars in their stockings when they know we are going after Christmas. This will be our 3rd family trip after Christmas.
