Good Afternoon All-

I have been reading along...kind of....too much to get into here just don't want to start crying again. The biggest thing is I've broken off a part of a front tooth which sent me over the little precipice I standing on. Thankfully it happened at home because I don't want to break down in public. I so want to live in the fantasy world Jim lives in...not with him just in the fantasy.

Marching band season is done so we move on to the next thing.

Well, I went to work today armed with my pain meds, I only took half doses as a whole one knocks me out, I was hoping that the pain would go away today, but no such luck. After my vision went blurry on me I went ahead and scheduled the CT for Wednesday morning, so now the pain should go away and they'll tell me it is just my sinuses.

Regardless I'm going on my trip, and I'm going to enjoy it!

I just got an interview at the Hospital...for Tomorrow at 3:30. I can use all the pixie dust that you guys can muster. I really need to get away from the pool and this job sounds promising It will be strange to not have to get up for work at 4 AM and to not need a nap by mid afternoon.

I'm glad you got that straightened out! It's devastating to be yelled at by a teacher. Hopefully, Katie can put it behind her, as well. Give her a hug from me. I was yelled at by a teacher, too, and it still affects me!

Good morning.

Well, today I start a new shift at work. I'll be working 11.5 hour days, but the beauty is that I'll only work 2 days in a row, and then have 2 days off. Every other weekend I'll either have a 3 day weekend, or I'll have to work 3 days. The 3 I work the kids will be with their dad so that won't be a big deal. Wish me luck!

Good luck, Tammi! It sounds like a great schedule after you've had a chance to adjust.

I think I need Terra (and you) as a party planner! You two always comes up with great ideas.

Thanks, Beth! It's mostly her. She comes up with most of the ideas and I just implement them. She's already been making Halloween decorations for several weeks.

Afternoon, everyone! Just a quick post, here. Life is going on, hectic as usual.

We had a really nice weekend! Alan and I had a great date night with friends on Friday. We went to Cafe Zupas where I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich with a bowl of Thai Lobster Curry soup. Very yummy! After dinner, we went to see "The Time Traveler's Wife." I'm still not sure how I felt about this movie. I didn't like the book, so I wasn't anxious to see the movie. However, it was better than the book, but the ending was so unsatisfactory!!

What didn't you like about the book? I finished it about a month ago and I'm still not sure what I think of it. I think that I liked it through a decent portion of the middle, but the beginning was slow and then the end seemed to speed up too quickly and was unsatisfying.

I thought I quoted it too, but who knows... Anyway: Good to see you, Lynn! Congrats on the new grandbaby-to-be.
