Good morning, DDA!

The sun is finally shining!!!

Thank goodness as Terra and I are spening the day out at a Girl Scout event. Bring on the mud! Yesterday, I dumped right at 5" of rain out of our recycle bin that had been open for right at 24 hours. That doesn't count all of the rain that came overnight the night before it was dumped and after I brought it in. Yikes!

Postseason baseball is not treating me well at all. I just need the Cardinals to win tonight, though, for now! Terra and I get to volunteer at the game, but couldn't do tonight so had to sign up for tomorrow. So they have to win so I get my chance! Of course, then they need to keep winning so that we can volunteer at the League Series and the World Series!!!

Well, I am running behind and need to get ready to leave soon so I guess I'd better run. Happy weekend everyone!

Good Morning DDA!!!

It is frigid cold (high is going to be under 30)and snowy here...but the marching band competition goes on!! Thankfully it is home field so when we feed them lunch it can be inside....one side benefit of it being at LPS but us not hosting is no one else can come into the building!!

Bands have cancelled so that heightens the kids chances of making it into finals...they have less than a week to turn around the season...I feel so bad for all of the kids who put their heart and soul into marching band, this is the worst year of kids who have little or no commitment to the band...including the soloist. Because of these idiots they might not even make it out of regionals.

Because the snow is sticking we get ice cream tonight!!

Call them (them meaning your parents) and tell them you want their information in case you need to contact them on the ship for any reason. Ask for their flight numbers, ship name, confirmation number, cabin number...
If they booked with a TA, you could call them and have them do it for you too. There may also be a section online at www.rccl.com for shipboard gifts with an 800 number that you can call. Depending on who you get, they may be able to look it up by passenger and ship name.

My brother's team won a few and lost 2 so ended up getting 4th place out of 20--not too bad! im home and relaxing for a bit then need to go to get some shopping done and go out with some of the softball team.
I cant beleive the phillies game was cancelledtonight due to snow!

I spent the morning at the vet with Kristin's best friend and her dog. Nikki was a 75 pound chocolate retriever they have had for 13 1/2 years. Ashley's parents are out of town for the weekend with no cell coverage. Nikki was unable to stand up last night so a guy friend of the girls came over early this morning to lift her into the car to take to the vet and the diagnosis was not good. Poor Ashley had to make the decision to have her pup put down. It was a very sad morning.

I spent the morning at the vet with Kristin's best friend and her dog. Nikki was a 75 pound chocolate retriever they have had for 13 1/2 years. Ashley's parents are out of town for the weekend with no cell covereage. Nikki was unable to stand up last night so a guy friend of the girls came over early this morning to lift her into the car to take to the vet and the diganosis was not good. Poor Ashley had to make the decision to have her pup put down. It was a very sad morning.

I went out and bought ice cream fixings as it's only getting colder here....coldest high for this date in a long time!!! We will watch WallE tonight (there weren't any other good choices at Redbox) while cuddling and eating decked out ice cream.

The only problem today is I am in massive pain with my ribs.

Those who have stayed DVC, we are used to mousekeeping everyday and you don't get that with DVC. So I need to bring my own shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc, right?

Good morning.

We were so busy yesterday. Nicholas had a game in the morning, which they lost big time. I had to take Alyssa to her dance studio because she is entering the PTA Reflections contest. Do any of you have that? The the this year is Beauty Is.... You can either write a story, paint a picture, do photography, make a movie, choreograph a dance, etc. So she did a dance, I videotaped her, and will put it on a DVD for submission. Then she has to write about why her submission fits the theme. After that we came home and decorated the outside for halloween. Bob came over and he helped me pull out 4 dead bushes that I had around my back porch. I had to go to the grocery to get fixins for dinner. While there I saw my neighbor to the left, my neighbor to the right, and my neighbor directly across the street. It was like our whole street was shopping. Weird. Anyway, it was a busy and productive day. Today we are going to go shopping. Now that the weather has started to turn I need to get Alyssa some more jeans and Nicholas some long sleeved shirts.
