good afternoon, dda! :sunny:

Today got ahead of me and now it is afternoon! The weather was unexpectedly lovely this morning so i took advantage of some time on the patio.

I also was reveling in the fact that i am in

:yay: :dance3: single digits!!! :dance3: :yay:

yippie skippie!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts and well wishes...

I honestly don't think that what we have is the swine flu but it would be nice to rule it out. The problem is the place the pediatrician sent us told me that they don't do it. But after coming home and looking on their website, they do do it.:headache::headache:I am ticked I wasted the time there this morning. So Mo and I are headed back out to get the test done.

The girls seem to be ok. Em & Lu still have coughs, Mo hasn't coughed but once this morning and that was right when she woke up. None of them have fevers. Eric's temperature seems to go up but only when he is moving around. I never had a cough, so I guess I never had the flu. I am so confused.

pixiedust:pixiedust: for a quick recovery

Who wants to give me their thoughts/opinions on my January itinerary???? For some reason, I am having fits with this, mainly because CP will be closed.

Wed 1/6 - arrive at AKLV around 11-12 and get snacks in the lounge, then head to MK. Wishes is tonight at 8, but I don't know if I should plan to stay for it. If we stay, where should we eat since there is no CP? I'm tired of LTT and 1900, Ohana's is getting bad reviews. We could eat at either CM or Tony's I supposed. Or should we skip Wishes and go back to AKL and eat at Boma? It's been a few years since we've eaten there. Any other suggestions?

Thurs 1/7 - This day is set in stone since it's my bday and we are doing the Sunrise Safari. We'll just stay at AK all day then. Dinner is at Yachtsman.

Fri 1/8 - HS - I can't imagine being here all day. The kids really want to eat at SciFi, so we will probably have lunch here. Maybe CS for dinner at either the Commissary, Pizza Planet or back at Mara at AKL

Sat. 1/9 - Epcot - We'll probably have a big lunch or early dinner at Tutto. Tonight is our only opportunity for Spectro at 7, so if we want to see that we'll need to rush over to MK. We can stay for Wishes at 8. That's the problem with winter hours. Everything starts too early.

Sun 1/10 - Probably back to MK before heading to the airport. No meal plans yet.

Ok ---- let me have it!

I really like Cosmic Rays. good food!!!

We are one of those families! We have never gotten the flu shots & now that I have said that I have probably jinxed my family

I have never gotten the shot either. I always get one big cold each year, with sinus problems, but never have had the flu.

I swear I have to start getting massages again, because I did not get sick when I was getting one every week. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the comments on Aubrey's cheerleading outfit I have a couple of things still to tweek on it.

Bernadette - the little girls who cheer have two piece outfits, the skirt is just a straight skirt with and elastic waistband and a slit on the side, I've always like the two piece better than the one piece. I bet I have an outift in storage in Lizzy's size, we have Cowboys and Falcon uniforms in the Pee Wee sizes.

For those of you going in December, I have an idea . . . . . with the 14 we have at lunch, Claire and her husband, and my two hitchhikers that will be going with us that would be 18, if we could get everyone to ride TOT we would be taking up most if not all of the elevator, how cool would that be?

Hey, I will go thru the que, but will take the chicken exit. Especially after just eating.!!!!!:lmao:

I know Stephanie will also be watching from outside!!!!

Found out today another uncle has been diagnosed with cancer. (sigh) Its pancreatic but they have caught it very early and and are just keeping an eye on it.

On a positive note?? the doctor said the hospital will continue to read moms mamo as abnormal, but he said its a normal abnormal. :confused3 (sounds like double talk to me)

I'm so sorry, Heidi! Please know that I'm praying for your uncle (and your mom, too!)

I would so love to see that ride photo!

Anne Marie
the pharmacies will give it to your kids as long as you have a Drs order for it. Olivia got hers at a walgreens one yr. As we were leaving for WDW and her Dr office did not have any yet.
Thanks, I ended up getting a peditrician appointment for flu shots on 10/12 for all 3 kiddos. That should be fun.:rolleyes1

Tammi,

If it were me I would not be able to stay at AKL on arrival day, I would be wanting to get to MK asap. I know what you mean about being tired of certain restaurants at MK. We are trying Tony's before MNSSHP so I will let you know how it goes. What a great way to celebrate your birthday with a sunrise safari.:goodvibes

I'm so sorry, Heidi. It just doesn't seem to end sometimes, does it. :( :grouphug: I hope the your mom's mammo continues to be normal abnormal.

Thanks for all the anniversary wishes.

Heidi:hug:So sorry:hug:

Tammi-I enjoyed Tony's-of course I should say I just got a salad as I knew we were doing the dessert party later. DH got shrimp scampi and enjoyed it-it looked good.

The pattern I bought has a few different styles. I really think Lizzy just wants me to make her something. I couldn't find white fabric when I bought it so I got cream but I may go back and see if they have it in white now as I think it will look better.

Lizzy, Dorinda & Ralph would LOVE to do TOT. I don't know about Terry. I'm thinking Halley won't do it. I would do it for the team. Sounds fun! Maybe before lunch?

I meant to say Happy Anniversary Bernadette, before lunch might be a better idea than after :rotfl:, they always say no Tower for an hour. My daughter and her BF will be at Studios with us that morning but won't be joining us for lunch.

Are there only 14 of us at lunch? I guess there are. I was thinking 19. Don't mind me - I am tired and cranky.

Actually, I was cranky all day and now I am tired, too. And damn near frozen. It is NOT 90 degrees here anymore. And SURPRISE! DS had to play his drum at the football game tonight. We found that out TODAY. :headache: I shivered the whole time.

ANYWAY...
Debbie, if anyone can convince DS to ride ToT I would put my money on you. He HATES that ride, but for you, maybe. ;) You can ask him. Otherwise he will keep Terry and Stephanie company while DH and I ride with the group. :)

Well today is over! What a crazy long day. It was nice to meet alot of the parents of the kids in my class, but back to school night is always a long day...now time to relax!

This trip I discovered Wolfgang Puck Express over at the Marketplace in DTD. The breakfast was wonderful. The dinner was top notch! CS meals. Who knew. It was great.

Woo!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Does anyone have any creative, unique and amazing fundraising ideas? We had an th grade parent meeting tonight and now we need to fundraise for the class trip and graduation dance. We have some ideas, but I'm wondering what works well in your communities. We are seeing that the usual wrapping paper etc sale and the fall bulb sale is not doing well this year. What is an idea that you wouldn't be able to pass up?
