Anne Marie
the pharmacies will give it to your kids as long as you have a Drs order for it. Olivia got hers at a walgreens one yr. As we were leaving for WDW and her Dr office did not have any yet.

You guys don't want to hear from me again do you?

John and I have never gotten the flu shot.

Robyn I just saw a thread on the CB asking did you know you can have the swine flu and not have a fever. Hope everyone feels better soon. :wizard:

DS gets a flu shot every year, without fail. Since he had issues with asthma when he was younger we always make sure to get the shot for him.

I am all about convenience. Some years it is required for me to have a shot because I am in a house with a newborn, so convenient or not, I HAVE TO get one. Years it is NOT required I will sometimes get a shot and sometimes not. Last year I got one because my GYN offered me one at my annual exam. I would not have gone out of my way to get one.

DH NEVER gets one. Which is stupid. One of these days he will be sorry. He is in and out of grocery stores all day. The one place people will still go with the flu is to the grocery store.

Of course we do...what's up?

Found out today another uncle has been diagnosed with cancer. (sigh) Its pancreatic but they have caught it very early and and are just keeping an eye on it.

On a positive note?? the doctor said the hospital will continue to read moms mamo as abnormal, but he said its a normal abnormal. :confused3 (sounds like double talk to me)

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, Heidi.
Not sure what the mammo results would be. Unless there is something that they will see and flag each time, but as long as there are no changes to that spot it is OK.

Thank you Elizabeth.

Yes they keep flagging something and they immediately do a ultrasound, but the doctor did say there is no change to the spot.

than that's a good thing...I would rather be abnormally normal than abnormally abnormal.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. It's been a rough year for your family.

Heidi I'm sorry about your uncle. Hopefully they can treat him agressively and soon he'll be cancer free.

I've heard of abnormally normal before. It means they will watch her more carefully, but she is okay for now.

Glynis - Lot's of prayers and Pixie dust will be headed your way.

Robyn - I certainly hope your family is on the mend quickly.

Thanks for all the comments on Aubrey's cheerleading outfit I have a couple of things still to tweek on it.

Bernadette - the little girls who cheer have two piece outfits, the skirt is just a straight skirt with and elastic waistband and a slit on the side, I've always like the two piece better than the one piece. I bet I have an outift in storage in Lizzy's size, we have Cowboys and Falcon uniforms in the Pee Wee sizes.

For those of you going in December, I have an idea . . . . . with the 14 we have at lunch, Claire and her husband, and my two hitchhikers that will be going with us that would be 18, if we could get everyone to ride TOT we would be taking up most if not all of the elevator, how cool would that be?

Lots of :wizard: for you!

Thank you both, but I am beginning to think cancer has it out for my family.

I'm here with my hands out, begging for prayers, pixie dust, good thoughts, whatever you can spare.

My dad had prostate cancer 12 years ago, and came through it just fine. However, this past week, he had a swelling and went to the doctor. At first they thought it was just an infected gland, but after some antibiotics, and then a blood test, they've determined that it is cancer. They're not sure where it is situated, and he has a CAT scan tomorrow to see what's going on. His doctor is pretty sure that they caught things in time to take care of it, but I'm still scared!

I still haven't adjusted to my mom being gone, and I'm terrified of losing my dad, as well. I'm a daddy's girl, and proud to be one, and I'm so not ready to go through losing him!

Thanks for all your DDA magic!
