Good Evening All!!!

Here are pictures from tonight:
Cassidy's fancy shoes:rotfl::

Cassidy and Ryan: (you should have seen both of them light up when he showed up (he was the last and late!!))

He also noticed little things about her outfit and was very respectful in meeting us. As Cassidy gushed while we were doing her hair "He's a cutie pie, sweetie pie...an all around pie" :rotfl:

Beautiful! I love their shoes!

When my friend Lauren got married the whole entire wedding party wore sneakers. The bride owns tons of different sneakers and she wanted everyone to be comfortable.

I would have loved to have shoes like that!

So I have a question for you all:

Is it common for parents to take pictures with the kids at big events like Prom and Homecoming??

Well, I'm off to work to tell everyone DH hit me, :rotfl::rotfl:
actually my eye doesn't look too bad this morning, just a little purple and red with a small gash.

We managed to get the housework done yesterday, except the laundry that is, I just don't know where it all comes from. :confused3

Glad your eye is doing better!

Terry I hope you have a wonderful day!

This one is just so pretty, so.....Happy birthday, Terry!

I am going to WDW this week, you know. :teeth:

 For you!!! :sad1: For me. ;) Have a great time and enjoy some yummy food for me!

I see that it has already been answered. Matthew had no classes on three of four Mondays in September: Labor Day, Eid ul fitr (I hope I didn't mangle the spelling of that one), and Yom Kippur. The schools here are in session on Jewish holidays. They aren't supposed to schedule tests, though, and Laura has a math test today. Hmmm...

Yay!!!

When I was in law school in Boston we usually had class on the Jewish holidays. However, the school videotaped each of those classes so that students off for the holiday could watch them later.

Happy Anniversary, Jennifer and Jeff!

Good morning, DDA!

I've been rediscovering what a normal Monday is today. Not half bad. ;) Just finished catching up some tv shows while catching up on the computer as well. Since have more computer stuff to finish, but I've got to hunt some eggs with Terra and get dad's stuff ready for him to leave for work earlier than usual. This weekend is Branson, though! :woohoo:

 I just learned something new today! Am I the only one who didn't know that Tia went to law school????

Kristine did you decide to share the winds today?

Why thank you. ;)

Actually I have my front door and bedroom window open, but if it gets any cooler then I will be closing them.

Are you sure that everyone doesn't take at least 100 pictures every time? That seems a little low to me. ;):rotfl:

I've taken pictures of hair before. :rotfl: One of my favorite shots from the 8th grade social would have been the one of Laura getting ready in the bathroom mirror (except that I didn't realize how filthy the mirror was until after I took the pictures). We have done only two formal dances (8th grade social and Snowball as a freshman), but the parents were all having their pictures taken with their kids. I found it a bit odd myself. I think dh was the only father not there for the "photo sessions", too, which I also wasn't expecting.

Out of the pictures I've seen on Facebook....I am easily the largest photo taker (even our official photog for the band doesn't take as many as me:confused3:rotfl:)

I guess my problem with the hair picture wasn't that it was a hair photo like you and I would do in the bathroom. This one was in the same spot as the staged ones and Cindy told Julia's hair to smile:lmao: I wish I had known and I would have taken a picture of the face on the other side. :rotfl2:

As per mousesavers.com, hope someone can use this.

7-for-4 or 7-for-5 Package Offer for November 2009 - March 2010
Now you can purchase a fantastic buy 4, get 7 or buy 5, get 7 vacation package offer valid for stays November 1 - December 24, 2009 through January 3 - March 27, 2010.

Here are the details:

Buy a 4-night/4 day vacation package at a MODERATE, DELUXE or DELUXE VILLA resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 3 FREE hotel nights and 3 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 43% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 4 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 4-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 3 FREE nights and the 3 extra days on your tickets.

Buy a 5-night/5 day vacation package at a VALUE resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 2 FREE hotel nights and 2 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 29% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 5 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 5-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 2 FREE nights and the 2 extra days on your tickets.

Extra days on a ticket don't cost that much, so the primary savings are on the hotel room portion, so the higher category hotels offer the most total savings.

To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 4, get 7" package at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 3 (savings of 3 nights' room rate).
Add $9.58 per person (ticket savings for the 3 extra days).
The total is your savings.
To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 5, get 7" package at a Value resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 2 (savings of 2 nights' room rate).
Add $6.39 per person (approx ticket savings for the 2 extra days).
The total is your savings.
You can stay longer than 7 nights (up to 10 nights) with this package, but there is a maximum of 3 free nights and 3 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 2 free nights and 2 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Value resort.

You can stay less than 7 nights, but you still must purchase 4 nights at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 5 nights at a Value resort, so you'll end up with fewer free nights/extra days. The minimum total stay to make this offer worthwhile at all would be 5 nights at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 6 nights at a Value resort. Obviously a 7-night stay is the best deal!

You can add the Quick Service Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, the regular Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, or the Deluxe Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, but you will pay full price for your dining plan (no free days of dining).

The package includes standard Magic Your Way Base Tickets. You can upgrade them with the Park Hopper, Water Parks & More and/or No Expiration option(s), but you'll pay the regular price for those upgrades.

This offer cannot be applied to the Premium or Platinum packages or to "split stays" (for example, 4 nights at one hotel, 3 nights at another).

You must book this special package by 12/20/09.

Kristine are you getting any rain? the rain just started.
