I was going to go to Hersheypark today for the last day of the season but my tummy is wonky so I am staying home. At least Hersheypark in the dark opens soon. I actually enjoy that better then the normal summer season because I love Halloween, they have awesome decorations, special shows and it tends to be less crowded.

I had a pretty busy week I was out most nights late and the one morning I left here at 5:30am. I have Monday off and am hoping next week is not so bad but it appears to be about the same.

Perhaps I shouldn't feel so bad that I will be missing Nicholas' game today. It's raining and is supposed to continue all afternoon.

It's been a busy day already. Chris and Colby got up and went with my brother, mother and father to a wood lot and worked on cutting down trees. Nick, Hunter and I slept in, made an early lunch and joined them with lunch in hand. We then spent another 3 hours working at the wood lot. We cleared one side on one lot, but have another couple of days work to finish our lot and cut DBs. Now Chris has headed to the dump and 2 of boys are shooting the bow. I'm going to take a shower then head out to spend my Kohls cash and maybe pick up a movie. I also need to find a DS i for Nick as that's what he wants for his birthday this year.

We have water again, now to clear the pipes and water (yuck), lucky the reain held off until after he was done. Dawn had 2 gallons of water so we could drink and I could make dinner, she is picking up more for us.

Hi!

We had a fun day. Len Testa did a book signing & talk on all things Disney & we go to go! He was very nice & answered questions from the audience. After his talk he signed copies of The Unofficial Guide to Disneyworld 2010.
It was so fun to meet him.

Becky and Tammi - the weather is pretty yucky, isn't it? Sorry it impacted your plans for the day, Becky.

I had a fun day too. Kristin and a friend and I went to Richmond for the afternoon. We had not been back since she graduated from college in 2008! We had soup and bread for lunch and then walked and shopped in a boutique-y area called Cary Town. Eventually the rain made it tough to continue, so we came on home. But for about 4 hours it was really nice to be back there.

Hunter decided to shop with me. We ended up getting a pair of sneakers for him and a pair for Colby. Colby's were on clearance. Then we hit Best Buy and picked up a DS i and the needed accessories. Finally we hit BJs and picked up dinner and dessert. Now we're catching up on programs that we DVRed.

Chuck & I swear we just saw "Stacey" from Disney on Monk (Season 8, Episode 6, Mr. Monk & the Critic). She was the "victim" at the beginning of the show. I'm not 100% sure because she had taken a shower in the scene and her hair was wet. ;-)

Tammi how did Nicholas's game go?

They won, 30-0, in the drizzle. John kept me up to speed with texts on the progress of the game, since I was missing it. So now they are 3 and 1, with 2 regular season games left to go. Then playoffs. The team is really playing great, and I love this coach. He is very good with the boys. Hopefully he will be here next year too.
