So I took down the Halloween decorations Sun. morning early, now I am ready to put up the Christmas decorations.

I usually put up two Christmas trees each year. But since we are leaving Dec 26th this year I think we will just put up one. I have a 12 foot artificial with white lights that I always put my Disney ornaments on.....then we purchase an 8 ft to put the other family type ornaments. I don't want to have to worry about taking down a real tree before we leave so I think we will just use the artificial. It's more appropriate anyway since it is our Disney trip and it has my Disney ornaments.

We always stay at the Park Vue Inn. Very nice, clean and a continental breakfast. You can also see the fireworks from the breakfast balcony. The people who own the Inn have known us since we first started going to DL 17 years ago.

Well, I got Halloween all put away, and now it's time to start thinking about Christmas. Usually I have all the presents bought by this time, and wrapped by Thanksgiving. Darn this economy, we haven't really even started! I do have the Christmas Eve pj's, but that's it! On top of that, I've got Jacob's 10th birthday on Sunday, and Timothy's first birthday on Black Friday! Too much!!!

I'm going to go out this morning, to finish the birthday stuff, and hopefully get started on some Christmas. Thank heaven that KMart gave me back my layaway! Seems like that's the only way I'm going to be able to do Christmas at this point!

Amy - Your costumes looked great! As usual!!!

Lynn - Your grandsons are so cute! What a clever idea, too!

Tammi - Enjoy all your days off this week, and enjoy Miley Cyrus! I hope you can make a great day of it all! You and the kids deserve it!

Well, I'm off to finish my last chapter of anatomy, run errands, and try to coax the baby to take a long, long nap!

We were at the Marriott Anaheim, right beside the convention center. Good location, but there are better!

Usually not until Thanksgiving weekend. We always have a huge crowd for Thanksgiving dinner....this year the count is at 31 people. I need all the space I can get for serving tables, tables and chairs. I think I'm going to even purchase some individual TV trays for those that have to sit in the family room area.

I am so keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Alan just called to let me know that one of the largest book publishing companies here in Utah (Deseret Book) wants to hire him to edit a documentary they want to produce in conjunction with a book they've published! This is HUGE for him!!! If they like his work, they could hire him again and again. They are constantly producing DVD documentaries (which is what Alan loves to do), and it could be some "permanent" money coming in.

We are meeting the CEO of the company for dinner on Wednesday night. Guess I better get my hair cut and colored to make a good impression. Definitely don't want to look like a tired, frazzled mom!
