Happy Halloween

Elizabeth do what an aunt of mine did to her dh... hit him over the head with a cast iron fry pan.

I just googled Disney halloween princess, this is the only one that came up though

Elizabeth - rant away, kiddo!

I just booked Cirque for Kathrin and me. I ended up with Category 3 tickets and I think we will be fine. Here is my reasoning: You all said Category 2, sections 203-205, Rows EE-HH were good. Those were not an option so I looked at what was available and I could have had Cat 2, section 206, Row BB, seats 17 & 18 for 90.53 each. Or I could have Cat 3, section 206, Row JJ, seats 3 & 4 which are one row behind Cat 2 and closer to the center. I chose to save $34 which will probably feed us dinner at WPE! I figure if we love the show and the seats aren't great we can go back on another trip and get better seats. So, hopefully I made the right decision.

Don't tempt me.

I think I would prefer to be closer to the middle and back a bit as opposed to closer and over to one side. Really, all of the seats are supposed to be good, so i am sure you will be fine! :)

thanks to Heidi we found 2 cute pics she chose the other one Heidi with the trees and tink

Elizabeth - I'm so sorry that DH is being a bonehead about this! I know that theater is a hard pill for a lot of guys to swallow. Band seems so much "cooler" than theater. However, I personally feel that your son stands an excellent shot at the theater slots! He's obviously talented, or he wouldn't have been cast as the Baker! He's got so much theater education that he would be able to audition without many nerves!

Good luck with the whole thing!

Thanks, Glynis!
I see now that there is an "Auditions and Monologue" class on Saturday mornings. Oh, how I wish DS would have been doing that instead of Improv! Oh, well. It is what it is. There are only 2 classes left this session, and the new session won't start in time for him to get any good out of the class before the Arts magnet auditions. And he refuses to consdier doing anything on Saturday mornings anyway.

Really, the whole thing may be moot if his test scores come back low. They just took the ITBS test last week, and it is timed. I didn't realize it is timed. :headache: IF he had a 504 in place he would have been able to have additional time to complete it. BUT I haven't gone in to request a new 504 because he has been doing OK. So he said one of the math sections had 30 questions and he only finished 19 of them. :scared1: Yikes. I am not sure when those scores will be back, but I am concerned that his scores may be too low to qualify for the Arts magnet.

Once I saw it I figured that was the one, but just didn't post it. Glad to be of help.

Lynn love the Homecoming pictures!

Chanon you have a cute little Tigger there :goodvibes

Elin yea for Cirque tickets!

You will be fine!

I was tempted to book again...I read on the DVC that there is some sort of discount on Cirque tickets. I am not clear if it's a dvc discount or AP discount...but it's 35% off Cat 2.

However....I'd still be buying 6 tickets :scared1:....SO maybe I should talk myself out of it.

Very cute Chanon!!:)

Today is Christopher's bday....so it has been a flurry of activity.

Elizabeth - I hope his scores are high enough to qualify. After that, good luck with DH!

Kristine - Happy birthday to Christopher!!!

Elin - Hope you enjoy Cirque. I've always been tempted, but not enough for the price. Maybe someday!

Terra's party turned out pretty well. The games went by quickly, but as I suspected, the siren's call of the playroom was strong. Amazing how quickly kids find it. It worked out well. We did a couple of games, food, a couple of more games and then they played. The food turned out really cute so I'm happy! I'll post pictures after we get through tonight.

Now, the bigger kids are playing, Kaylin is sleeping, Erin is trying to make it here without her car dying again and Kristi is trying to study for her licensure exam. Erin mis-made a tray of nuggets so now dinner is done! We'll I probably need something to go with it, but it's more done than when I was making mummy pizzas. We just need Dad to get home and Chris to get off of work and we're set.

Have a great night everyone!

Well we got 12 kids trick or treating.

I can't believe your trick or treating is over. We haven't even started! It's 4:00 here, and Alan will take the kids out at 5:45.

I'll start making our pizza mummies for dinner in about an hour.

That was on my list too! Since the nuggets are coming now, I told Terra I'd just make them tomorrow. I'd prefer the easy of heating the nuggets now. I'm tired! ;)

There is an AP and a FL Resident discount out there until 12/19. I need 12/23... It is worth a look anyway, Kristine! (enable, enable, enable)
