Tammi - Yay for cheaper flights!

Glynis - Good luck with the class!

Theresa - I am glad Abi's notebook resurfaced!!

DS lost his music binder for Band last year. It had his name on it, and nobody wants his percussion music so I knew he just misplaced it. Instead of keeping it for him and giving it back to him the next day, the Reading teacher took it to Lost & Found in the main office. DS refused to go look for it or ask anybody about it. I said something about it to the teacher at Open House and she said she turned it in to the office, so I went and dug it out of the bin.

Elin - I hope it goes better than expected! Enjoy your wine! ;)

77 days, I need to start packing soon, huh Elizabeth?

Speaking of packing, Stephanie are you packed yet??

Yep. The time is approaching! ;)

I picked up my shirt from the cleaners (didn't realize it had to be dry cleaned when I bought it :headache:), returned some too-tight jeans for DS, and put gas in my car. Now off to get Princess!

Tom - Great new pictures! She's such the little lady now. :cloud9:

Glynis - Good luck with the class. I now what you mean about trying to find the extra income.

Elin - Good luck with your meeting! I hope this is the least stressful in recent history.

So I decided to look it up...and have gotten somewhat cold feet...not because I think my marriage is salvageable more because I hate admitting defeat or that I made a mistake. :guilty:

I know that's one of the hardest parts, Theresa. The part of you that thinks you should just stick it out because you don't want to have failed. I think the biggest thing is how is it affecting the girls. What's the lesson you want them to get out of everything. Which choice is the best for all 3 of you. Lots of :grouphug: and  and even more :wizard: and a few more :grouphug: for you all. I know that the right decision will find you when the time is right. Until it does become clear (and even after!), you've got all of us here to listen and to lean on. We love you and your beautiful girls!

You can do this Theresa.

lot's of people stay in bad marriages Theresa for a variety of different reasons...no shame in that. But then I would tell you to take steps to make the very best life you can for YOU and the girls...and ask yourself if that is even possible to do in your marriage. Divorce is not easy, not fun and a lot of work....but I will tell you with no hesitation that it is the best thing I ever did. Sometimes the unknown is very scary and can hold you back.

Hang in there

First of all WELCOME CAMMIE!!! Stop lurking and join us! Theresa can vouch for us, we are not frightening at all!

Kristine - Love the turkey!

Tammi - I think I agree with Tia. While the race would be something fun and different, I think it would depend on whether or not you guys are going back sooner or later. Really talk with the kids and let them help you make the decision.

Deb - Good luck with the training days! It's nice to have you back!

Everything went well with Timothy's appointment yesterday! He is 26 and a half inches long, and weighs 19 pounds. For some reason, I thought he was much heavier than that. Must just be my old arms! The doctor does want me to bring him in for a swine flu vaccine in October, so we'll do that. The rest of us will be getting a regular flu shot at the same time.

Today will be an interesting day for me! Alan enrolled me in some classes to learn medical coding. He's lined up a job for me to do at home with a company that does medical coding for doctor's across the country. I have 4 months to complete the training and I get to start today. I'm not sure how I feel about it, as it's not something I ever wanted to do, but we really need the extra money that this job will bring in. Please wish me luck!

Glynis I did medical billing for years. It is boring, but certainly doable. Good luck:wizard:

It really sounds like it is time. When you describe confrontations with terms like I almost called the police because I didn't feel safe...It's time to start the process. If you want your girls to grow into self confident, indepent women then you need to lead by example. We're all here for you:hug:

You said this so well, Kristine.

And I like this sig even better than the first turkey!

Hello, DDA! I never did get a chance yesterday to read back. It seems like whenever I find a few minutes to use the computer, someone else is already using it.

you all are the best. There are times when I don't want to type things out because I don't want to sound like a whiner and a broken record...I should know better...you all are family.

that happens in my house after 2:30 pm:confused3

so my eldest had decided he "may" go with us for the second half or our disney trip. So I am in a tizzy trying to see what the airfare situation is...plus I would have to change a bunch of adrs. I need him to decide ASAP....he is so nonchalant...drives me batty :upsidedow

Good morning, DDA!

I read and had some replies in my head, but they seem to have gotten loss in the mess that is my brain right now.

Deb - Hope the training goes well.

Theresa - Hope your friend will join us!

Tammi - Yeah for the flights! With a quick trip, I might skip the race, but then it would also depend on when the next trip after that is. Since you've been recently, this might be a good time to do something different with the race. However, if it's going to be a year until you go again, maybe not. I'm a big help, eh!

Kristine - Hope you guys can work things out to improve Jackie's situations.

Elizabeth - May the craziness of school soon resolve itself and mellow out.

Bernadette - Good luck with the car!

Ditto, Thanks Tia!
