Jen you have some amazing pictures. I pray that we get to see some of that beautiful Caribbean weather :wizard: Was that a tatoo on your shoulder?popcorn::

I also have trouble with the DIS making my letters small, when I want them all big.

Thanks Deb!

And that was a fake tattoo. Being "diamond" members on the cruiseline, we got coupons for free tattoos..so we just got them the last day haha

I have had that happen before... seems the DIS wants us all using our indoor voices.

I'll try to remember to use my indoor voice. :rotfl:

The neighbors across the street are having their roof done. At 7:30 this morning, the radio was so loud that I thought there were people in my yard. Now all of a sudden, it is very quiet over there. I guess there is no need to be loud now that everyone is awake.

Hi there..

Thanks so much for the good thoughts, well wishes and prayers. I appreciate them so much.

I wish I could say that we were successful, but I can't. We have the issue of Alyssa's father to contend with. While he has no visitation and Sara has full custody, he has to be notified or attempted to be notified. I have no idea where he lives but in order to file I need to have a letter notarized to the effect that I attempted to and was unsuccessful in doing so. So we left the courthouse with the paper work and even more questions. :headache: And the other thought is that if we allow this to be played out in the court, while I am certain her father could not gain custody it is one more thing we'd have to deal with. And I refuse to add another.

I have talked to the social worker and he is ok with us not going through the courts but wants us to keep the kids for what looks like a year minimum. My sister is under the impression it's for a week. So I told the social worker that he needed to address that with her along with a few other things. If it comes from him then she must take it seriously. From me, it's just not "official" enough.

On top of all that I came down with something. When I woke up yesterday my entire body hurt. I really thought it was stress but by yesterday afternoon I had a fever. As long I am pumped full of meds I am ok. I have no time to be sick...

Debbie- I sure hope the trip is going well after the bumpy start.

Jen- I enjoyed your trip recap and pics! Thanks for sharing.

Bernadette- Love your pics, thanks!!!

Deb- I hope the weather doesn't spoil your vacation.

Beth- sorry for the rude wake up call.

Heidi- Could you please take pity on me and send some cake my way;)

Good Morning All!

I have read but not retained so I will send out :hug::hug: to everybody (and prayers to you Robyn....if you ever want a drink call my mom!)

My mom went home yesterday:guilty::guilty::sad1: and I have been called for 2 job interviews in the last 2 days. One today and one Monday. Today's is for the headquarters of Heidi's Deli's and Monday is a hoity toity dr. (from what I can figure out from the website).

The new cat has been checked for microchips, none, but they also can't find a "fixing" scar...so the mom who is a vet tech said we could fix her immediately and basically abort the kittens (if there are any) or wait and let her have the kittens and rehome them (again if there are any)....guess which one we chose?? We figure that there will be plenty of homes waiting within the band. :rolleyes1

Robyn :hug:I'm sure that stress has a lot to do with it. It wears your body down and makes you suseptable to many more things

It appears that we are pretty well packed for the trip. We all got haircuts yesterday. Today had/has both jobs on tap so that doesn't leave a lot of time for anything else. The boys have been spending time reading and some time playing video games. I've been getting them to the pool as often as possible.

Deb :yay:for alone time. Even though its just John and I, our trip in Feb. was just the 2 of us and it was great. So long as the weather doesn't get to crazy you will have a wonderful time.

I made my ADR late this morning (forgot about it, because I was baking) and was able to get 12:15 for lunch (SCI FI) on the 12th. She asked if we were celebrating anything and when I told her yes, we are brand new DVC owners she practically yelled yeah. :goodvibes

Deb I hope you have nothing but perfect weather for your trip!

Robyn I hope you are feeling better soon :wizard:

Heidi I love zucchini bread but have never heard of the cake. Sounds good though!

Heidi's zucchini cake made me want cake. But dh's birthday is soon-ish (deliberately vague for him), so I decided to make up a brownie mix instead of cake. It is a mint-chocolate one that we bought on sale and haven't tried before. It smells good in here.

And, of course, the ad at the top of my screen is for WW. I almost never notice those ads, so I think someone may be trying to tell me something. Maybe I can ignore that little, nagging voice until September and then start again.:rotfl:

It's coming up soon now! :woohoo:

I only had a very small piece just to try it, I actually made it for my aunt.
