I would love to go on the MagicMeets Cruise next July too, but I am not sure it will happen.
I didn't win any of the auction items I bid on. They had 100 lots of amazing items: Larry Dotson prints, old Tapestry of Dreams marionettes, a pin-trading jacket, personalized tours with Steve Barrett and Lou Mongello, meals with Deb Wills (both on-site) and on the cruises
yay: Terry!!), amazing photos of the parks, gift baskets of everything imaginable for all ages and loves. It just goes on and on.
A perfect example of how so much money is raised is that Tapestry of Dreams puppet. It was donated by a couple we spend the day with. The minimum bid placed on it was $10 but it went for $95. One of the personalized tours went for $355. Generous people all the way, both those who donated items/services and those who bid and won.
The breakout session I went to was on moving to Disney World. I am so determined that this is going to happen. Now I have to make it so, as Captain Jean Luc Piccard was always fond of saying.
