DDA Chapter 22

I couldn't go to my 40th HS reunion this weekend because my boss is out of town. I am not complaining, it is the way it is.

However, there are a bunch of photos from the get-together on facebook now and I am shocked at all the old people who were there! Alright, I know that is the cliche, but REALLY... they are OLD! I am the same age they are and I don't think I look like that. Admittedly most everyone is heavier (that made me feel better :) ) but they look like their parents! I am truly surprised. I know I am not a spring chicken nor do I think I look like a 30 year old, but with two exceptions, these people looked like they were way up in their 60s. Unless the 50-somethings I hang around with on a regular basis are particularly well-preserved. :confused3

:headache:503 Server not Available. I am so sick of getting that every morning

I am not 100% sure my checked bag is under 50 lbs. I will approach the curbside sky cap with a BIG smile and visible cash in my hand. :rolleyes1 They used to charge for curbside check-in, but they stopped that when the airlines started charging for checked bags. A tip for the guy will not cost me as much as an overweight bag will, and I tip them anyway. I think the battery in my bathroom scale is dying so I question the accuracy of the weight readings.

Use your Wii Balance Board to weigh it.

Deb - I hate those early morning DIS problems too. That is why I am on here later now. Hope you had a good day anyway! :)

Bernadette - I am so sorry your camera issues aren't going to be resolved before you leave. :(

Tammi - I hope your week flies by.

Use your Wii Balance Board to weigh it.

We tried.
The suitcase is big - 29". Because of the wheels we can't get it to stand up on the board. We put it on there sideways, but DH isn't 100% certain that ALL of the weight of the bag was on the balance board. He had to kind of rest his hand against the bag to keep it from falling off. The Wii said the bag was like 45 lbs. Bathroom scale said 50.

Elizabeth I'm thinking the Wii board is right. When I would pack our 29" with a weeks worth of clothes for the both of us it never was over weight, it would come close, but never over.

Happy (belated) Anniversary, Deb and Chris! :)

Happy Anniversary Debbie and Richie! :)

And, thanks for all of our anniversary wishes on FB. We had a great weekend. :goodvibes

I think we're going to put the BBQ off for a few more years yet...I'd like to go when all the kids can dance with the characters, though by that point, the meal will put us in the poor house. Thanks for commenting Bernadette and Elizabeth.

My next question is, has anyone dined at the Big River Grill and Brewing Works? We're staying at the Boardwalk Villas, but I don't think I'm adventurous enough to eat Cat Cora's cuisine. ;)

Hope everyone has a great Monday! :wave2:

Good morning,

This will be the longest day in history! :rotfl2:

Elin,
Thank you for the ecard!:)

Tammi,
Hope work is not too hectic. Have a great time at Disney next week!

Everyone going to Magic Meets, hope you have a blast!

You get on the scale and see how much you weigh. Then lift the suitcase and see what you weigh now. The difference is what the bag weighs! :goodvibes

We have eaten there a couple of times. They have good sandwiches, sometimes good entrees and great beers. Does that help at all?

We are going to give Kouzzina a try in October. We will cancel if the menu looks too far out there, though!

The Free Dining General Public discount has been released through December 17.

I think this will ensure that we have trouble booking ADRs for our December trip. As long as you arrive by December 17, you can book a package as much as 10 nights. That means everyone will be looking for meals during the time that is most difficult to get them anyway and they will have a 2 day or more head start on us.

Gary & I ate here in March & we were both pleased with what we ordered.

Anne Marie in case I miss you, hope you all have a wonderful time!

Bernadette sorry about your camera.

Tammi-I Hope your week goes quickly!

Anne Marie-Hvae a great time!

Thats what i do!

Good morning!

Good morning, DDA!

We've got to head out and help with Kristi's church Kid's Club today, but I wanted to catch up here quickly first. After that, it's an easy peasy day. Woohoo!
