Thank you Elizabeth.

The last time we were AP holders, we were not DVC members so they mailed them to us.

:woohoo: Ann Marie you are going to have a wonderful time

Ann Marie & Dana
Not sure if I have the right husband.

So who all is getting ready to go?

Anne Marie, Marci, Bernadette, me, Tammi, and Debbie? I think I got everyone in the correct order of arrival. Lots of ticking going on around the DDA over the next couple of weeks!

This is what Kathrin has to say about your unusual NE weather:

Dear Summer season: You know you're my favorite. We used to have so much fun together! Laughing, vacationing, day drinking. But your behavior over the past few months has me thinking that you don't love me anymore. I think we should break up. I've been seeing Fall, and I think it's getting serious.

I love it. She is so right :goodvibes

Good morning DDA.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I lost one of my contacts last night. I took it out and it flipped somewhere. I couldn't find it. I guess I have to go back to the eye doctor tomorrow.

August is going to sail by. I have a trip planned this weekend. Magic Meets the next weekend. A two week time to pack for my Labor Day trip. And then my Labor Day trip to Disney.

Hello stranger :wave2: We've missed you around here:hug:

We're home. Camping was fun and thankfully the weather cooperated (at least it didn't rain and yesterday was partially sunny) We participated in a few competitions though Chris and I didn't fare well. Nick did win the swimming relay, Nick and Hunter took 2nd in kids shuffleboard and Colby came in second in kids karaoke. Hunter surprised us by getting up to sing in the karaoke which he said he wasn't doing. He chose Hotel California by the Eagles which is Chris and My song :goodvibes Yesterday was our 17th Anniversary so he had my entire family in tears by the time he was done. He even made a dedication at the end:goodvibes I'm surprised that he remembered that was our song since we haven't mentioned it in a long time, and only in passing then :confused3 He can be such a sweet kid. We took our portable mini bar to the karaoke party so we had a nice night:drinking1 We had Jack Sours, lemon drop martinis, chocolate raspberry martinis and roy rogers for the kids. Colby and I danced to a lot of songs and he told me again today how much fun it was. Chris even danced some :thumbsup2

Happy Sunday, everyone!

It's been a pretty good day here. Just wrapping up Connor's swimming party. We had about 15 kids here and swimming, plus parents. Phil was suprised it was that many as he said he couldn't hear anyone really. Amazing the difference when the one family that drives me crazy isn't here. I can guarantee you he would have heard it then since Mom and Dad are the loudest. They don't take action to correct the kids or help in situations, they just yell. :upsidedow

Even better, the house almost looks like it did this morning when I woke up. Kristi's already got everything cleaned up and looking good. Woohoo! Now we just get to relax and hang out for the rest of the night. :cloud9:

I can't believe it's almost time for the somewhat annual DDA influx to WDW. The rest of us will have to talk it up online again to keep things moving while everyone's gone.

Is anyone doing the MK dessert party while they are there?

Jen, I hope you finally PACKED SOMETHING for that cruise! ;)

Deb, glad you had a nice weekend!

Tia, Tammi, Debbie, and I all booked the dessert party. Not sure about the other DDAers.

I tried to book it but it was full.

Yeah! I can't wait to hear about it. I'm really hoping that they continue to extend it and do it in the off-season as I'd love to do it for Terra's brithday.

The suitcases are in my room..and i have every intention of starting to at least make piles tonight ;)

Now that's my kind of packing! ;)

OMG.... You all do know Terry and I will be there Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th before our cruise?? Staying at... drum roll... CSR!!!!!

:cool1::love::cool1::love::cool1::love::cool1::
I might have to consider an upgrade to CSR. Would LOVE to meet you & Terry even if we are staying at Pop!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Between family coming to visit, and other summer things going on, I haven't had any time to just come and chat. I don't even know if everyone is doing well. I hope you all are! I think about you all the time, but I just don't have enough hours in the day to do everything I need to do, let alone the things I want to do!

Pixie dust and hugs to you all. If there's something I really need to know about, could someone PM me, please? Thanks.

I'm really hoping that things will calm down, but I don't see that happening until after August 21. School starts then, and so all our summer extravaganzas will be over. Please know that I'm thinking and praying for all of you!
Nice to see you! Hope things calm down soon!

Forgive me if this has already been discussed over the past four years ( ;) ), but has anyone ever gone to Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend! Thanks for all the thoughtful anniversary wishes and compliments on the kids' pictures posted on FB. :)

Lots of trips coming up fast...may you all be sprinkled with lots of :wizard: !
Never been and its been years since I've read reviews-I think I've read that character interaction can be difficult.:confused3 It seems expensive to me since we aren't big drinkers-doesn't it include beer & wine?

How lucky that I did NOT book air for December when I put it on hold yesterday. BOTH flights that I had on hold are gone now. Gone, not as in sold out, but as in no longer on the schedule! Now the times are not nearly as convenient!

So I chose 2 more flights at times I am not happy with. In the time it took to send the "Hold" confirmation e-mail the flight times changed AGAIN! I am not sure what they are doing with the schedule, but now I don't trust them.

Airtran is no better with the times.

SW has flights that COULD work, but we would have to change planes in Houston. With only carry-ons that wouldn't be too bad, but I was hoping for nonstop.
:wizard:Good luck with that! We aren't real happy with our choices-well there are flights for times we like but they are about $200 one way instead of the $89 for a flight that lands in Orlando at midnight. If we didn't have to worry about snow here in MA in Dec I would take that flight but I'm leary of the potential weather delays. There is a flight down that leaves Boston at 11am but Dorinda thinks the current price of $119 will drop or she can use her free ticket for the flights down but she won't have that til she flys in early September.......

So who all is getting ready to go?

How did I miss that Marci will be there????

Happy Anniversary!!! Hunter is so sweet!

We are going our first night.

I am :scared1: right about now! I bought a $200 flash for my Nikon so I could get a good shot of the whole crew at the Cape. I was really happy with the results. The next day my camera kept saying I needed to charge the camera battery-the flash has 4 AA batteries of its own.

I put in a new battery and had no more problems.

Today I was looking at photos on the camera and cleaning up memory sticks. When I finished the Dug dress I tried to take photos and the camera said the battery needed to be charged. I charged the battery and the camera still won't work. I have a backup battery and that won't work either.

I'm trying to charge the battery on an different outlet but I don't know if the problem is the battery(ies), charger or camera......:scared1::scared1::scared1:

Here are the tunics I made for the girls Monday night. I made them long for a beach cover up.

Very cute tunics, Bernadette!!

I am having trouble with DIS pages loading again and more double posts...

Deb - Happy Anniversary (a little late!). Sounds like you all had a good weekend. Hunter was a sweetie, wasn't he?

Jen - get packin' girl!

Bernadette - the camera/flash/battery thing does not sound good!

If they extended the Wishes dessert thing I would book it for October. But I am kind of thinking they won't due to the MNSSHP and then the holidays. We will see.

Elizabeth--I am taking a break from packing to tell you im packing now..The weather got so nasty here--sever storms..crazy bolts of lightning..the sky just looks scary...
So im multi tasking--packing, Dising, storm watching, movie watching :)

Emma's Buzz sundress:

Emma's Dug (Up) dress. It is growing on me. I need to do more applique so I can get better and be happy with the results. Emma LOVES it so that is what really matters!

I really like the buttons for the eyes. I think the eyes might be a bit too close but Emma says to leave it as it is. I got the image from a coloring book and he had his eyes closed in the picture so placement was a bit tough. I also really love the balloon fabric.
