DDA Chapter 22

Jennifer - Somewhere there is a chart showing the % of ticket price increases. It might be on Mousesavers.

Bernadette - Sounds like we might see each other twice this year! ;)

Anybody stayed at Coronado Springs? I think we may stay there and do the free dining. It is cheaper than AKL and they have queen sized beds. So for $100 more than what I was going to do, we have 4 nights of hotel instead of 3, and we have the 3 one day passes to use later. Plus we'll have 4 TS credits - I was only planning to do 3 TS. I am a little intimidated by Pepper Market and their mandatory gratuity so we may just avoid that and eat somewhere else!

I realized our DDE card will be expired in December, so the additional $60 in airfare is offset by the $60 we'll save not buying a new DDE card. Or something like that. :rolleyes1

I never have, but two friends have at different times and loved it. The pictures are beautiful.

::yes:: and the waiter looked like my favorite cousin and was such sweetheart :goodvibes that we left him a very good tip.

I was thinking I didn't know they did breakfast. Guess they used to do it!

This is too cute, and tell her welcome to Fall he is wonderful. :lovestruc

This is what Kathrin has to say about your unusual NE weather:

Dear Summer season: You know you're my favorite. We used to have so much fun together! Laughing, vacationing, day drinking. But your behavior over the past few months has me thinking that you don't love me anymore. I think we should break up. I've been seeing Fall, and I think it's getting serious.

Keep at it Elizabeth, it gives me something to read. :teeth:

John and I looked at the lunch menu for Tony's and we will be eating there in Nov.

Just need to figure out when my 90 day mark is. Can someone tell me if this is correct?
Nov. 11 is our first day, so my 90 day is Aug. 13?

We like CS and their Pepper Market. If we had not gotten rooms at POFQ for Christmas it would have been our second choice. And we like the food court there. I think the quality of the food offsets the mandatory gratuity.

Theresa -

Elizabeth - Janet loves CS.

I am broken. :sad1:
I am so sorry! Wish we could more than listen and hope/pray that things improve!!!:hug::hug::wizard::wizard::wizard:

I didn't think you had to pay the gratuity if you used DDP points for the Pepper Market?

August 13, is correct, Heidi! Here is a calculator that is handy to have:

Thanks for the link. My date for Dec is 9/2-the day the kids go back to school. Dorinda will be away. We've picked a few but still need at least one more TS.

I got Emma's Buzz dress cut out and was sure I could get it done tonight but I bought single fold bias binding for it instead of double fold.:headache: Now I have to drive to JoAnn's tomorrow to get the right stuff-about 30 minute drive each way. I didn't want to start the other dress tonight because it is a bit harder so I wanted to be more alert. So I'm doing laundry. Maybe I should work on photo back ups too.

Where else would you possibly look?!?! :rotfl2:

Yes, well, then there's that.

That's good to know! We would probably just go there for breakfast. We'll be in the parks for lunch and dinner.

Coronado Springs.

;) :rotfl:

:lmao: That was funny!

Bernadette - I don't know if they add the gratuity to DDP purchases. :confused3 I suppose we will find out! :rotfl:
Good luck with your sewing!

I'm watching Gran Torino on my new tv. It's SWEET!

:goodvibes But I thought you were reading! See what you missed below:

We went to our favorite wine bar again tonight for their weekly free Friday Night Wine Tasting and a light dinner.

The James Dare, the rep from Warwick Wineries in South Africa was pouring the following delicious wines. We had the opportunity to talk to him a bit after the tasting and he was delighted to know we had drunk his wines at AKL before. Seems they are his largest buyer in the US!

Warwick Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Warwick Three Cape Ladies 2004 (this was my favorite tonight)
Warwick Estate Reserve Red 2001
Warwick Old Bush Vine Pinotage 2006

I think I want to go there some day. I have never really thought about visiting South Africa, even though my brother was engaged to a lovely young lady from SA for a few years. But, just look at this place!

We had mac 'n' cheese with lobster for dinner and it was yummy, as usual. Also tasted some wines in the enomatics there

(Orin Swift's Mercury Head and Saldo and Roagna Barolo Riserva la Rocca e La Pira 1993 were some I would not normally buy but enjoy sipping a bit)

n my way back home I saw the most fascinating site. I am still perplexed by what it all means, but I will let the photos from my phone (as I was driving!) speak for themselves:
