Happy 1st day of school to everyone heading back today!

Katie is staying home, her head is still hurting & now she is achy with a slight cough..now I am obesessing that she caught something in the ER.

Poor Katie! Hope she's feeling better tonight!

Alyssa thought she was going to a fashion show instead of 2nd grade.

How cute! Love Nicholas' shorts! I bought Joe some plaid shorts Saturday and brought them back Sunday.

She is doing really well! We are still giving her motrin occasionally. She will favor that arm here and there but otherwise it's business as usual. Lu's appt went well. The doctor said that she is young enough that she will heal with the bump on the collarbone but as she grows that bump will smooth out. She is to go back in 3 weeks. It's sad that the doctor recognized us as soon as we went in. Hopefully, her next visit is the last!!!!

Nice to hear she's doing well! Hope you got your nap today!

I didn't take many pictures this weekend...just wasn't in the mood.

Poor Princess is hacking and hacking. I happened to look at her inhaler when I was putting the dinner dishes away and it's the wrong one!! It's her short acting rescue inhaler, not her daily maintenance meds! I KNOW I refilled it before I went to WDW - all I can figure is that the pharmacy gave us the other one when I called in the refill.

The pharmacy is 24 hours, and they DO have a refill for her, so when my bosses get home I will verify that we don't have another maintenance one somewhere in the house. I feel bad for her - her cough is brutal.

Poor kid!

Glad to hear everyone had good holiday weekends, and great first days of school! I sometimes miss that anticipation of a brand new year.

And Tammi - my goodness, Alyssa is such a fashion plate!

Thought I would let you guys know that I'm typing this from the hospital. Long story short, but we may be welcoming Austin tonight if some labs come back troublesome (blood pressure related on me - he looks fine), or we'll be welcoming him at the break of dawn on Thursday (6:30 am). Either way, he'll be joining us sooner rather than later, it seems - which is good news to us as long as all goes well with his delivery. Needless to say, I hit that wall of most definitely being tired of pregnancy on Sunday!

I'll keep you guys posted! Send good thoughts that we'll do this Thursday am so the grandparents can be here, and I can eat some dinner. I'm starving to say the least!!

A quick fly-by post. I had a wonderful Labor Day week-end. Friday was a furlough day (unpaid day off) so I had a 5-day week-end. We went camping at McLain State Park on Lake Superior. It is the campground that Chuck and I camped in when we were newlyweds. I love it up there. It is about 15 miles from where we met (Michigan Tech). We got to do all of our favorite things. We also got to see our closest college friends, Bob & Liz, who still live up there. We got together for lunch on Saturday at the Ambassador and I had my traditional MaiTai and a traditional submarine sandwich (which is basically a normal sub but tastes so much better than any other I've ever had). We then went to Bob & Liz's for dinner and hung out there. They have lived there for 26 years so it feels very comfortable as we've stayed there many times in the past. Sunday, we kayaked for 3.5 hours on the Sturgeon River.

I'm very relaxed. I'm hoping to maintain that this week. Hope that all is well with all of my DDA friends. I miss you. I ran into a DVC member, she had on a DVC polo, today. It was great talking to another Disney fan. It made me miss all of you more.

We didn't manage to make it to the park this afternoon, but did add another meeting in the morning. Tomorrow is fun though! Wendy, Michael and Danae are in town for his bi-yearly doctor's appointments so we're headed to the Botanical Garden. Terra is so excited. She's often lamenting that she doesn't get to see them very often.

And now, though, it is past my bedtime. Plus, I'm still planning to swing by the fridge for some pie. Have a good night everyone!

Jennifer - I wish you could have been my nurse tonight! That is exactly what they were to be doing - but it took until there was a shift change to realize they didn't draw a vial for that test - all they had sent to the labs was my preadmittance stuff! And to top it all off my first nurse stuck me 3 times before getting blood - I've never had that problem!

We were finally sent home about 4 hours after getting there. My labs were slightly elevated in a couple of spots, but my BP went down, so we're on pace for Thurs around 7 am or so. I'll check in tomorrow - thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts!

Good news, Lindsay. Stay away from the Mag if you can. I had it 4 times before full-blown eclampsia. But, it was worth it for the babies.

Lindsay best of luck. I agree with Denise and Jennifer...the Mag drip is horrible. Austin should be a great size by now. I can't wait to see pictures. I can also attest that I felt 100% better within minutes of delivering all 3 of my boys. I hope that you can say the same

Since I had to work Monday today is my holiday, I have to take the car back to the dealer this morning, the check engine light came on again, I think we've isolated it to the gas cap but I'm having them change it out, I don't want the light constantly coming on.

Well, I have one out the door on her way to her first day, and the other is just getting up. He has one more year of sleeping in, since his elementary school has the latest start at 8:50 am. I am still not ready for this day to be here, but there is no stopping time.
