hi everyone--what a crazy day! Dad woke me up early and we had some errands to run all day--i finally got home and now its cleaning time, but i had to say hello

It's been another crazy day. I did manage to run a few errands and even bought myself 2 dress and a skirt/top at 75% off. Colby had school and then we hit my parents pool for a couple of hours as the sun was actually out. My cousin came over to the pool and trimmed my hair so I don't look quite so shaggy anymore. Now we're in for the day.

Can I just say how TIRED I am of working overtime? TIRED! I want to go HOME!!! I don't want to work ANOTHER 12 hour day. But unfortunately that seems to be my week, so there you have it. And I shouldn't complain, because I have a job and all that sort of thing. But I am TIRED of working all these extra hours. Extra hours are USUALLY optional for me, but this week I have been saddled with quite a few, including the ones I will be stuck with tonight that I made it clear I DID NOT WANT. So I am VERY VERY grouchy right now.

Add in the fact that Princess is supposed to be sleeping, but she's WIDE AWAKE. Fabulous. So not only do I have to work extra hours, I have to work them without a break.

Deb - Sounds like a productive day.

I just broke down and cleaned up the playroom. Granted it's not completely done as I filled a basket for the kids to put away after their movie is over. However, it took me less than an hour to get that and my computer area totally cleaned. Why is it that things seem so much more daunting than they really are. Imagine, if I'd just done it several days ago I could have been living in peace in here that much sooner. Why is it that we never learn? Or at least that I never learn?

We've got a very muggy, blech kind of day outside. Medium heat with enough humidity to knock you out, yet no sun. I'm really thinking we won't do t-ball tonight after all. It was alreay going to be tight with getting Rachel to church and Phil home from work so this just clenches it.

Tia - We have sun. LOTS of sun! And when we got in the car about 45 minutes ago it said it was 111 degrees outside.

I confiscated the toy Princess had in her bed. Hopefully she will go to sleep now. She took a crummy nap yesterday.

Yeah, I need 111 even less than I need this. Mostly it's the humidity that kills me, but 111 is 111, nothing good about that!

Thanks, Janet. I am just crotchety because I forgot Momboss was out of town this week. I told DH Sunday night I wasn't working late AT ALL, and now I am working late again tonight for the 3rd night in a row. I would like to just go home ON TIME so DH wouldn't already be in bed by the time I get there.

Pinecone is kind of a pain sometimes. I bet the reason they are recruiting new members is because people have dropped out due to the new pay structure.

I recently got 2 different surveys that looked really odd. I e-mailed Pinecone about them and they never answered me, so that ticked me off. These "surveys" had a link in them, but no study number. When I logged into the Pinecone site and put in my ID it said I had no current surveys. Oh, and my e-mail flagged them as suspicious, which NEVER happens with my regular surveys. Yet when I e-mailed Pinecone they claimed they couldn't help me because I didn't include the study number. Idiots, there IS no study number! I ended up deleting them.

I am trying to make a reservation for Emma's birthday trip as Jet Blue is releasing those dates tomorrow. I want to have a resort reservation before I book airfare. I was on hold for 49 minutes with a lousy connection so I hung up and called back. I have the phone on speaker phone and the connection is still lousy-I don't know if its Disney or my phone. It has been another 36 minutes. At least I have free long distance.....

Can you believe I'm still trying to put all the photo albums back together from the slide show? I did come across a couple of pictures of my youngest DD as the flower girl in my SIL's wedding in 1991. The blonde sitting and looking at her is my oldest, I made both of the dresses, back in the day I made them dresses for the holidays and made their cheerleading outfits, I haven't sewn anything in years though, it got to where it cost more to sew than to buy.
