Chris and the boys are still sleeping so I'm trying to be quiet. I hope you all have a nice day. We are expecting scattered showers and higs in the mid 60s. Certainly not swimming weather. Todays events should include shuffleboard, canoe races and family double dare.

Morning DDA!

Bob and I have been so productive in the last few days! We've ripped down wall paper, patched nail holes, moved our high speed cable line from an upstairs bedroom to the basement and sanded down the walls. Tonight the walls get washed down and we have to pick up some wood fill to fill the holes in the siding and then we'll probably paint this weekend. We ordered the crib and dresser too; that just left LA and is on it's way here. Can't wait! Here's what we ordered:

Hopefully it will go with our bedding choice, even though it's more of a darker brown...Oh well!

Morning DDA!

Bob and I have been so productive in the last few days! We've ripped down wall paper, patched nail holes, moved our high speed cable line from an upstairs bedroom to the basement and sanded down the walls. Tonight the walls get washed down and we have to pick up some wood fill to fill the holes in the siding and then we'll probably paint this weekend. We ordered the crib and dresser too; that just left LA and is on it's way here. Can't wait! Here's what we ordered:

Well the movers are coming today to pack us up...should take til Thursday. I am not sure what they will start with first so I may not have a pc later today...maybe I can sneak on Dana's work laptop...

Have fun! The movers ought to start with EVERYTHING at once! At least, that is how they always did it with our moves. Seems like a line of ants coming in the house with boxes and paper and tape and "stuff" ... Dining Room and Kitchen are my first guesses. Good luck, Anne Marie. Honk as you pass on by. Things are about the same here...busy and crazy.

The girls and I baled from the camping trip Saturday night. Em was refusing to use the facilities (and I certainly don't blame her) so I thought it was best to get her home before we undid all the progress we've made so far. Sunday was spent cleaning and doing laundry. Not much of a father's day but it what it is!

I spent about 6 hours total at various doctor offices yesterday. 3 1/2 for me and 2 for Lu. Lu and I made a quick dash to Target, which they had nothing that I went there for but I still managed to walk out there with 5 or 6 bags! I sped to Eric's parents so Eric and I could switch girls, I got Em and took her to jui jitsu. I was talking to the one instructor and she asked me if I would be interested in a women's only class, a combo of cardio and self defense. It was perfect, my doctor advised me to take up a martial art for relaxation and me time. So I'll be interested in seeing how it shapes up. It may not be relaxing so much but it may kick up the weight loss again.

We've also had lots of neighborhood drama involving Em, Mo and Maya. It is exhausting and considering the kids haven't been out of school a week, I fear a long summer ahead!

My mom called this morning and said she was taking my dad to the hospital as he was having a hard time breathing. As horrible as this sounds I hope this scares him into finally listening to the doctors.

So this HUGE moving truck came down our street. We have a little street so as they drove down they took down the cable lines on the poles!!!!

Thankfully it was not an electrical wire!!!


Looks like they have the kids rooms done already!!! Oh & no cooking for me as they have packed up all my cups, plates, & utensils! Oh well!!!

Like Elizabeth says, the kitchen is a dangerous place & we shouldn't go in there! LOL!
