Obviously I am here. The drive down was just gorgeous. It took me through horse country, vineyards and up into the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a crystal clear day here so everything was so pretty. Very relaxing trip.

My Finance Committee meeting was as contentious as I feared. There are some greedy and angry women in our midst!

But that is over and I am looking forward to the banquet tonight. I will check in later on and let you know if everyone "made nice" or was rude.

Heidi, Kyle says thank you for the birthday greeting!

I hope you all are enjoying the sunshine that has come with what appears to be summer around here. We have been on the go every day, including a quick day trip to the in-laws and 3 days of birthday celebrations for Kyle.

In my "spare time", of which I really have none, I've been putting the final touches on the girls' birthday party. I can't believe they are almost a year old

And Tammi, I have to say I love your "hump day" pictures!

What a long trying day. All I can say is I'm glad I'm heading to bed soon.

Both of the boys teams lost tonight, but both of our boys played well. Nick was kept in the entire game. Hunter did well in goal, but that just wasn't enough.

We got home around 9 PM and rushed Colby through the tub to get him in bed. Hunter's next and the rest of us are not far behind.

Chris got an update on the baby. She is still in the hospital in a medical induced coma. She is intibated. Apparantly 2nd degree burns are the most painful as higher degree burns kills the nerves . Once she begins to heal the will bring her out of the coma and transport her to the Shriners hospital. It sounds like a very long healing process.

We still don't know exactly what happened, but I'll fill you in once we find out.

There is a serious fire burning in the U.P. Please keep our firefighters and all the families that have lost structures in your prayers. I don't know if it is just camps that have been lost or whether it is people's homes. It is very windy and spreading fast.
