Why oh why am I always running behind with trip preparations? You'd think I wouldn't be since I got such a head start.

I hope Kristine and Kelli are managing to keep dry whille still enjoying their trips, looks like we have some rough weather to travel through this weekend.

Debbie, good luck getting the last minute prep finished!
From their posts on Facebook it sounds like both Kelli and Kristine are getting drenched on a daily basis. Kristine said she has never seen rain like yesterday.

We are headed to the zoo today. I slept funny and I have a horrible crick in my neck/shoulder. Guess I'll take some Advil and get on with it.

DS has his impressions done for his new retainer today. That should be fun. Not.

10 more school days. 6 regular days, and 4 early dismissal "exam" days.

Is the rain in Florida from a tropical storm? I can't believe how much they are getting, they may need a boat soon.

Good Afternoon.

I didn't make it into work today. I woke up soon after going to bed last night vomiting. I think the tummy is better now, but I'm feeling achy and I've got an annoying little cough. I'm sure that the lack of sleep I've had this week just wore me down. Since I only got a couple hours sleep before 4 AM I made myself stay in bed until noon. I'm hoping the extra sleep will go a long way. I must say that I had some very strange dreams though.

Colby was up during the night with an upper leg pain and he was still complaining this morning as he was in "misery". H we to school because his concert is tonight and he didn't want to miss it.

Good Morning-I've been up since 5 AM to go to an interesting job ummmmm.....cattle call. I didn't get past the first interview....they said I talked too much..It was more I wasn't as precise as they wanted...oh well.

So I am home from work today, as I suspect I have strep throat. Which I probably got from the girl at camp that had it whose Mom did not want to take her home. Gotta love it. I can not get into the doctor until tomorrow morning. We only have a half day at work tomorrow so I will probably end up taking that off to since I will be at the doctor during the time I should be working. I wonder how many other kids and adults ended up sick. Sorry I am a bit bitter about it.


Do any of you have a favorite adult pajama pant pattern? If so what is it? I want to make some pajama pants as I can not seem to find any I like. Plus they seem to be long enough in the store and then are too short.

Deb I hope you are feeling better Sounds like you need to slow down a little & get some more sleep. You need to care care of yourself!

Becky I think I would be a little bitter myself. The parent should not had let their child stay while sick Hope you are feeling better soon

Hi, all! Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've been in a funk this past week. I'm feeling a bit down with Memorial day coming up. That's the day we always take care of our families graves. I feel badly that I won't be able to visit my mom's since it's so far away. It's kind of got me down.

Things here are wrapping up for the end of the school year. We just found out that Katie will be awarded a trophy and 50 dollars for completing the Newberry challenge. She's spent the last 2 years reading and doing book reports on Newberry Award books. Only a handful of students complete the challenge, so we're really proud of her! She's excited to have that extra money in time for Disneyland!

I read everything but can't remember much. I do know that I owe Beth a "happy birthday!" I'm glad you had a good day!!!

Deb - I hope your great niece pulls through! So sad!

Claire, the little preemie that I told you about, is doing quite well. She's breathing on her own, and seems to be doing well. They don't expect that she'll be going home until sometime in July. The parents are really bummed, but so grateful that she's doing as well as she is.

Gotta get the kids off. Talk later!

We seem to be missing a lot of birthdays lately.....we must have birthday-i-tis...if we don't celebrate anybodys birthday that must mean we aren't getting any older.
