a stupid question for you all...im not good at these technology things :)
..I have an ipod shuffle and use itunes with it....my dad got an Ipod and it holds more songs so he was going to give it to me..is tehre a way for me to save all those songs that are on my itunes to put onto the new ipod?

thanks!

Hilton Head or Virginia Beach? (Or something else?)

I am going crazy trying to decide what to do and where to stay. There are a limited number of Marriott choices available on points if we decide to take my parents up on their offer.

I think you can just take them from your I-tunes account and load them into the new iPod. But I don't know any of the specifics, because dh and the older two have iPods, but I don't.

Beth I really can't help, I'm not a beach person. What does the rest of the family think?

That's the biggest problem. They won't think about it. Maybe we'll just drive down for Nationals and come home and not worry about any of the rest of it. :confused3 Dh hates spending money. Matthew isn't really interested in a family vacation, though he said he will go. Neither of the other two want to make any kind of plans or decisions.

Good afternoon, DDA! Just a quick fly-by post before I take Rachel and some friends to the mall.

Terra's toes are mostly better. She had a slow morning yesterday, but was doing better by afternoon, just a little limping. Then, she bumped them on something in the evening and they started hurting again. They are doing better again this morning, just a little limping. We'll see how it goes by tomorrow morning and go from there I guess.

Nothing too much for us today as I'm pretty much spent from my crazy family yesterday. In between rain bursts we all helped Dad with various pool opening activities. The rest of the time, everyone was just being their usual wild, crazy selves. A little wearing on my not so good feeling self, but fun all the same. Luckily, I'm feeling better this morning, though not 100% yet. I just wish I could figure out if it was cold or allergies so I knew how to treat it since nothing I've tried so far seems to help.

Well, actually I guess I'm not headed to the mall. Rachel just called and said that she isn't feeling well. So, I guess we'll just stay at Kristi's for awhile longer.

Tia glad to hear Terra's toes feel a little better!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day! It has cooled down & raining some here. Gary will cook out between rain drops lol

:wave2:

This has been an interesting weekend. We have pretty much determined that Hunter is having issues with hypoglycemia. He is having daily drops in his blood sugar and as far as I can tell now this is what has been happening all year, and probably longer. Yesterday was dizziness and he turned white as a ghost and he was in tears. A coke had him back to normal in a short time. Today he just got so tired and started crying for no reason. I had bought some glucose tablets when I was out today and one tablet perked him up very quickly. I've been reading about it today and that would explain his moodiness, depression, headaches, dizziness, fatigue and many other things that we've been encountering. I'll call the doctor tomorrow and hopefully I can get him in on Thursday as I have the day off.

Colby is having daily bloody noses so that's a whole other issue.

Chris and the boys went to camp and cut up a bunch of trees that we now need to split for my parents for next winter. I went to the plaza and ran all of my errands and picked up a ton of groceries. I got home before the boys so I started deep cleaning the kitchen as I was putting the groceries away. It took way longer than it should have, but at least it is done. Now I have a bunch of things that I need to put out in the camper. I'll get to that after dinner. I've got chicken cooking with bacon and cheeses. We'll have that over pasta. It smells delicious and I'm so hungry I bet it will be good too.:lmao:

Hey all! Hope all have been well. I was at my mom's this week-end with no internet (unless you call the dial-up at about 33.6 internet but I sure don't). We got lots of stuff done for her this week-end. Chuck & I took a little bit of time to ourselves and went to the Tahquamenon Falls.

Terry-I don't think I could have witnessed that service.:sad1::hug:

Theresa-so sorry for Cassidy:hug:

Deb-hope you can get some help for Hunter.:wizard:

Jennifer-I'm sure you can do it-don't you already have all your music on your PC? I think you can just add them all to your new iPod but I'm not expert. I was hoping there was some way for me to have all the stuff from my iTunes account accessible from both my desktop Mac and my new notebook-well I didn't even really want everything I just wanted the movies I have on the notebook but I never did figure out how to do it. Good luck!!!!:wizard:

It was a beautiful day for a parade.-sunny but not too hot. Yesterday we had pouring rain so it was great that it worked out well. All 3 kids marched. Lizzy & Joe do the whole route that must be several miles. Emma's Daisy troop meets up with the parade about 1/2 way through.

Here's just a couple of photos:

I have had these boxes for more years than I can remember. I finally put them together to send to my one sister living in Atlanta.

Nice pictures Bernadette. Spring does seem to have finally come, I actually had the whole house opened up today.

Hi all. Sadly, this lovely 3 day weekend has come to an end. :(

Deb - I hope you get to the root of Hunter and Colby's issues.

Tia - Hope the toes are all better soon!

Terry - cute boxes!

Bernadette - beautiful pictures, as always.

The day ended up being pretty nice here. We stayed away from the pool though and went to the movies to see Night at the Museum. It was ok, but I liked the first one better. All of the history that was in this one was way over my kids' heads. The only figure they knew of was Abe Lincoln. They enjoyed it though. Then we came home and grilled burgers and dogs, with baked beans, coleslaw, watermelon and fresh pineapple. It was yummy!

Tammi--isnt it a shame when the 3 day weekends end?

It was a great, relaxing weekend, which was perfect because its going to be a crazy week! I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday, 4 appointments/meetings at work on Thursday plus my mom has her surgery. Its just going to be crazy!! I just realized that today is one month til our cruise--i started a packing list and bought a lot of the stuff i need (toiletries and such). I figure i want to do my shopping while i still have paychecks coming in! I am just relaxing and watching the end of the phillies game...

I will have several 3-day week-ends this summer. The State of Michigan is giving us 6 unpaid "vacation" days. Isn't that sweet of them? Five of them are Fridays and one of them is a Monday. I'll get a 4-day 4th of July and Labor Day week-end as well as 4 other 3-day week-ends before the end of September. I also realized I'm at my annual leave max which means I need to take at least one day off every 2 weeks for the next couple of months.
