FYI - DVC members and those renting points: Disney has gotten the online ADR problems fixed and it recognizes DVC reservation numbers now! I will be trying out the system at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow and will report on the outcome. :)

Good luck!!! :wizard::wizard:

Elizabeth - what colors do you all look good in?

Pinks, blues, some greens and browns. NOT black, white, gray, red, orange, yellow. I am off to the mall shortly to see what I can figure out.

OK, after much number crunching I think it is honestly a toss-up between the DDP and TIW for us! DDp would save us 12 cents over TIW... maybe :rotfl:

So, I think we will not do the DDP and will get what we want whenever we want it.

It is SO much simpler not to have to deal with both DDP and TIW transactions in a single meal. I think going TIW is better.

That is our departure day so unfortunately we will not be able to join you. Hope we can meet up & say hi though.

We need to compare parks days and see if our paths are crossing! :thumbsup2

Zazu has learned to jump from the dining room table to the "bar". Then he can step over onto the kitchen counter. He has done that about 150 times this morning.

What happened? What were the circumstances and what was the outcome?

Jaundice is a major symptom of that, and he doesn't appear yellow to me. I'm hoping the blood work-up will check for that.

She didn't have jaundice - but they first thought it was IBS then went to gallstones. Severe belly pain is what we remember the most for those that I asked here at work.

Jaundice is not usually a symptom of gall bladder.

Gall Bladder is severe pain on the right side. Nausea is also a symptom. I know this as I am having these same symptoms. Of course mine is not consistent. I had severe pain one day at work. So bad I left and went to the Dr. She pushed on my belly and it was not tender. Then she had me take a deep breath and push over my gall bladder. The pain from that was so bad and caught me off guard. she said it was classic Gall Bladder symptoms. So I had a Ultra Sound of my gall bladder that was normal. I am still ocasionally having the pain and nausea so on Monday I am Having a HIDA scan of the gall bladder and they will inject CCK into my veins to check the functioning of my gall bladder.

Hmm...then the internet has lied to me. After much deliberation and conferring with a friend or two, I have decided to take Nicholas to the E/R, if nothing else than to get some fluids in him. The very little that has gone in him over the past 3 days has come right out, and he is much to small to be going this long without any hydration. Yesterday at the dr. he was 58 lbs, with clothes and shoes. And he is 9. I feel torn about this because it isn't a true emergency, but then on the other hand it isn't just a bruised knee either. If people use the E/R as their drs. office for every little ache and pain, I feel justified doing this. Hopefully they will run a battery of tests on him, and I won't have to wait for the results like I would if I took him to the lab like I was planning. So, I'm waiting for Bob to get here to stay with Alyssa and then we will go.

Anne Marie - I'm glad you are starting to get settled and that the girls are happy. Hopefully Daniel will be too once he gets organized. I would love to see pictures!

Thanks for the info, Jennifer. I need to back away from the internet. Now I'm self-diagnosing him with Crohn's Disease. :sad2:

not a problem. When I had my US they said I had some fat deposits on my liver, so that really freaked me out. But it is very mild what anyone would have. If the test on monday does not show anything then I will have to see a GI Dr.

Of course the pain for me is not consistent with time of day or anything. I actually just ate some cinamon rolls for breakfast as the girls did not get up till 10 and finally told me they were hungry around 1030. Well I ate the rolls with a glass of milk. I am now having the pain. So we will see Monday.

Tammi, I think I would do the same thing especially since he's not a big kid. I hope they can help him and like you say they will run tests on him there so you do not go back & forth.

Dana just hooked up my pc so I am back on line..yay! I will try to take some today, I havent taken any yet.:sad2: We have to go shopping for a computer desk/armoire. The pc is in the study/LR so we'd like to keep it hidden when its not in use.

Tammi - I hope Nicholas is doing okay. Good luck at the ER.

Anne Marie - I'm glad you're getting settled in. The girls' new rooms sound perfect.

Elin - Enjoy your few days off.

Elizabeth - Good luck figuring out the outfits. That would be my toughest part. Hope you got what you wanted with member services.

Jennifer - Love the Smores pictures on Facebook! Too cute!

Jennifer - Good luck with your tests on Monday. I hope they can figure something out. I've given up trying to figure mine out for now. Too tired of doctor visits and tests to here - "we don't know." It's rare enough that I just deal with the pain when it happens.

:hug:There is a tummy bug going around. Hunter had multiple tummy aches at the beginning of our vacation which had him on the verge of throwing up. He did not eat alot for several days, nearly a week. Once it passed he was eating normally again. We had planned to take him to the doctors when we got home, but he was better. Colby may have it now as he has been complaining of an intermittant tummy ache for 3 days now. He too has been up during the night, no vomiting or other issues, just the tummy ache.

:cool1: I just finished doing the on-line check in for WDW.

:cool1::cool1:

:wizard::wizard:Good luck with your tests

That is what Kathrin has been saying for over a month. Apparently the Boston area has only had 4 sunny days in all of June??? I can't imagine that. :sad2:
I honestly do not remember 4 sunny days. BUT....the sun is out now and it is almost 70!

Good morning! It's been super hectic here trying to get unpacked & get everything organized. Miss chatting with everyone.

The kids love their rooms...we bought new comforters for the girls. Sophie now has what she has always wanted..the pinkest girliest room in the world. Katie has what she loves, modern room with like nothing in it. Daniel's room is still a work in progress because his old room was actually bigger & he had more shelves so we need to get him some organizational furniture.

Hope everyone is well.:)
:wizard:Good luck settling in!

:wizard:Good luck with your ADR's!

Thats what we are doing for August too. No more DDP for us since paying for Daniel as an adult is a huge waste of money. TIW for us too. I think we will be happy with the flexibilty of not being tied down to certain adr's so as not to lose credits.
Us too! Lizzy just doesn't eat that much and in the summer I like the option of canceling an ADR if it too hot to eat.

I do however want to take a solo trip with Joe before he is 10 and do DxDDP.

It's been going through our house too. Nothing too bad but an annoyance for sure.

I got to go to the kids swimming lessons today as I have the day off (my office even let us out at noon yesterday). Today was the last day of the first two week session. As I suspected Emma was promoted from level 1 to level 2 and Joe remains in level 1. They said if he'd just put his face in the water he'd go to level 3. At least he doesn't complain about going. Maybe this will motivate him to get past it or maybe it won't.

I've got a few household things to take care of today but hope to do a bit of sewing tomorrow. The kids want to do the free workshop at Home Depot tomorrow. We've been going to the Lowes ones but we haven't tried Home Depot yet. Home Depot does them once a month. Tomorrow's project is a picnic caddy-wooden try to carry cutlery. I figured they could use them for pencils and stuff. Last week we made pirate ships at Lowes. I think next week is a hellecopter, then a treasure chest, then boat, then bus. The kids are upset that we'll miss the message board at Home Depot while at Disney.

We'll go to my MIL's on Sunday for a cookout.

OH...DH & kids gave me a 4th of July gift today (um...makeup for bday & mothers' day....). 2 books- How to Live Like Walt and Mousejunkies. I'll have to let you know how they are.

I just ordered some shorts from J. Jill. They were really the only shorts I liked on my May trip. They are a nice cotton/spandex blend. Just enough spandex to give them a nice finish. They were originally $55.:scared1: I think the one pair I bought in April I got something like 10 or 15% off and free shipping. They are now on sale for 25% off and then sale items are an additional 25% off. I did end up paying about $35 with shipping but that is still better than the original price and they do fit me better than anything else.

Just thought I would add here's a link in case anyone else is interested. I ordered the women's rather than misses as I find they fit me better in the rise. But the misses are cheaper-about $26 before shipping.

Yay! :cool1:

Thanks for the info, Jennifer. I need to back away from the internet. Now I'm self-diagnosing him with Crohn's Disease. :sad2:

Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis (what DH has) are almost indistinguishable without a scope. Does he have blood in the stools?
I think some IV fluids at the ER will perk him up if nothing else.

Cast your vote for pink or green!

I have to say the pink photographed kind of odd - maybe that should be my hint NOT to wear them for PHOTOS! :rotfl2:

Really????;) You'll be happy to hear I ordered 3 pairs. I was heart broken when Ralph Lauren discontinued my favorite pair of shorts. I only had 1 pair and just didn't like the price or would have purchased more. I've been thinking about ordering more but they haven't been on sale this well before-I wouldn't have ordered 3 at the 25% off so I'm glad I held off but so no long that the didn't have the color I wanted.

I like the greens together better.

Elizabeth-I like the green scheme better than the pinks.

DS likes the green better.
The pink shirt I bought for him isn't really THAT pink - it looks darker in the pic than it is. But I doubt he would ever wear it other than for the photo.

The "berry" colored shirt for DH is exactly the same color as the darker color in my shirt, but he doesn't want to keep it because it wasn't on sale. Again, not sure he would really wear it other than in the photo, so maybe the green is a better choice for miultiple reasons.
