Last night was the annual String Festival. All string students in the school district from 4th grade (1st year) through 12th grade play. Some years they also have a guest musician. This was Matthew's 9th and final year and Miles' first year. It was Laura's 7th year. It was a great concert. The high school played selections from Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. We went to Wendy's for dinner before the concert, because the synchronized swim team was having a fundraiser.

Yes, With a value resort it was a $100 gift card, with a deluxe it was a $200 card.

Kristine - I hope all is well with your mom! Update us when you can.

We have 5 probable positive cases of swine flu in Utah, so far. One school district is closed until Tuesday, and I'm sure that there will be more closures as the time passes. I'm worried what this will do to our Disneyland trip, but I'm just not allowing myself to panic. Ok, that's not strictly true, I did have a bit of a panic attack this morning, but I talked myself off the ledge pretty quickly. I've decided to just be more vigilant about my kids and their handwashing, etc. We've decided to limit the amount of time they are with friends, and we are keeping the baby out of the public eye as much as we can. I use Lysol wipes on doorknobs, light switches and telephones every day and the kids have hand sanitizer in their backpacks. Other than that, I'm not sure what we can do.

We do have to go out tonight for Jacob's Pinewood Derby at scouts. He's really proud of his car, so I'll try to remember pictures.

Chuck's mom went back in the hospital yesterday. Her heart was racing again. She is still in there as they are monitoring her.
