Kids have met so many friends this week & have been playing outside every evening with their pals. We have appliances coming tomorrow. There is no furniture so theres lots of echos around here.

Yes that is correct. We could get together to have supper that Saturday evening.

Works for us.

I think we will stop in Gettysburg on our way up on Friday and spend a little time looking at our old stomping grounds. Then we will drive back that way on Saturday night after dinner and spend the night... doing some of our favorite things from the past on Sunday.

After ordering 2 vacation planning DVDs and they never came, John ordered one to be delivered to his job. Well guess what he got the other day?


A PIN CODE! that's right we never get them here at our home address, but he gets one at his work address.

I'm guessing that you are down visiting for April vacation as I think the kids are finishing the school year in NY. Unless I missed something along the way I'm so happy that things are going well. Did the big closet win her over?

Found this so far: Bring your mercury thermometer to a household hazardous waste collection facility. Many state or local agencies operate these facilities as permanent or seasonal collections. Typically, the service is free.

Our dump has hazardous waste day. I bet you could bring it to a hoptial and turn it in too.

Beth - I can find lots of info about how schools in NY should dispose of the mercury thermometers, so maybe (as a last resort) call the kids' school and ask them. I have noy found anything yet for a homeowner.

Better not! Mercury is highly toxic and remains so for centuries.
