Good morning DDA. My mom, niece, and nephew are still here. I'm heading to my MIL's this afternoon. I work from the U.P. this week and am going to work from her house so I can take my turn helping her out. She had her lumpectomy on Friday. It was quite small but deep. She has an appointment today that Chuck's sister will be taking her to. I'm not sure how reliable the internet is so I may be mostly working from my blackberry.

so today is my wedding anniversary....Jim supposedly is coming home early to take me to lunch. It frustrates me to no end that he just acts like nothing is wrong. Espescially after days like yesterday....I could have been a triple murderer toward the end of lunch, between him, my grandma, and their "tenant" John.

You know the saying "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger" and others like it? I do believe I am putting those to the test.

Easy-peasy!!

Wedge your peeled sweet potatoes. Toss them in a little oil seasoned with cayenne pepper and salt. Place on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 450-degrees for about 20 minutes, turning once.

(They were fully cooked, but I would like to have them be crispier next time so I will play around with the time/temp.)

Hi Elin, I checked my emails last night and then read you did not get a notice. I was going to call you but saw this reply. I just hope the system does not crash when everyone tries to get on right at NOON.!!!

boy howdy it is extremely quiet here lately.

I won passes to see the Disney movie Earth tonight....so Abi and I will go watch it tonight. A perfect thing for her and I to do together. She has been looking forward to seeing it since we saw the first previews early in 2008.
