boy howdy it is extremely quiet here lately.

I won passes to see the Disney movie Earth tonight....so Abi and I will go watch it tonight. A perfect thing for her and I to do together. She has been looking forward to seeing it since we saw the first previews early in 2008.

sounds like a great evening, Theresa... you sure are lucky when it comes to give-aways! I am hoping some of that luck trickles into your job hunting too!

Hi Elin, I checked my emails last night and then read you did not get a notice. I was going to call you but saw this reply. I just hope the system does not crash when everyone tries to get on right at NOON.!!!

I know we will be there with our mouse poised to do just that!!!

I will be on at noon too. But still no email but their system assures me I am registered for emails and newsletters....

My brother is back in the US! He is in california somewhere and has a 3 hour layover and then heads home-landing late tonight or early tomorrow morning--i cant wait to see his pictures and hear about his trip!!

Im not sure if anyone follows MLB or the Philadelphia Phillies--but I just turned on to watch the pregame show and they said Harry Kalas, the voice of the Phillies, just passed away about 2 hours ago. I know there are a couple of you that live relatively close to me so I just wanted to let you know..its very weird to be watching the game and not hearing harry kalas!

Hello. Just popping in between all the running around. Hunter's ped agrees that he has the symptoms of depression and anxiety, but she will not prescribe meds. She is referring us for a pedicatric psych med eval. The first available appointment is in June, which isn't acceptable to the doctor. She is working on something sooner and will call us hopefully this week. The guidance counseler also called and he will be working with Hunter for the rest of the year. He is also seriously considering moving him to the other classroom for next year. He said that is not something that he or the school would normally consider, but given the circumstances and the guidance counselors own experiences with that class. Apparently the boys in that class with the exception of Hunter leave him with plenty of anxiety so he can only imagine how bad it is for Hunter

Soon we need to leave for lacrosse.

At some point I need to hit Home Depot as our front door will no longer latch Isn't it always something

Wow, no one is posting.

The boys had lacrosse practice and the field is next to a river. Man it was very cold out there. I had on my parka, hat and gloves and I was still cold. My Mother was wrapped in a fleece blanket and colby had on 2 sweatshirts and a fleece. Chris, Nick and Hunter were running around enough to stay warm though I did make them all wear pants. Nick was the only one on his team that had on pants instead of shorts

I ran to Home Depot and picked up a new strike plate for the door. A little work with a wood chisel and the door is now working properly again. The kids and I feel much safer now

I've also called Nick and Hunters' friends to see if they want to go to Six Flags. They will call us back as neither Mom is home right now. Hopefully it will work out for the boys.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Mo!! She enjoyed seeing them all (Tammi, Debbie & Deb I'll be sure to show her yours in the morning.) She had a pretty good day, considering she fell down the steps tonight at bedtime and I completely forgot to give her her gifts!! I am so sad though that she is 5.

so today is my wedding anniversary....Jim supposedly is coming home early to take me to lunch. It frustrates me to no end that he just acts like nothing is wrong. Espescially after days like yesterday....I could have been a triple murderer toward the end of lunch, between him, my grandma, and their "tenant" John.

You know the saying "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger" and others like it? I do believe I am putting those to the test.
