No that would be the movie Casino. I was watching a special one night and they mentioned movies where curse word were used a lot and Casino had 5 every minute.

I swear that movie had the F word in it every other word. It seemed like they said to themselves "Let's see how many times we can use this word in one movie". It was horrible in my opinion.

Just lurking as of late.

This morning I was waiting to have the pump for the sand mound to be replaced. It seems it went bad, but turns out the alarm is bad too so we never knew, so $816 dollars later... (that is more then our mortage payment.)

Hello!

As I alluded to a few weeks ago, life has been crazy-busy here in Sharonville. My SIL's shower was a success and Kevin's performance in our church's Palm Sunday Cantata was amazing...I was so proud of him! Alyssa's birthday seemed to drag on forever. Many of you know I managed to get some pictures up on Facebook last night, and I'll try to upload some to Photobucket soon, too. After Easter!

In the meantime, I am very tardy in sharing a spectacular package we received a few weeks ago. I bet you all can guess who it was from without me even telling you.

Thank you so much, Tom. Like you said, it was just the perfect fabric for our little Frog Prince.

Elizabeth it sounds like DS is going through a similar emotional issue I'm glad that he opened up to you. I find it odd that they both opened up to us on the same day, but I've shared your Ds's story with Hunter and and he can relate to how your son is feeling even though he isn't having any bully issues. Hunter has met with his guidance counsilor and will continue to do so. He said that he didn't have a tummy ache at all today I hope you can come up with a solution for your ds.

In other news...We received a letter from the school the other day. It seems they are restructuring the Kindergarten through second grade program at the school. They are eliminating the K-2 classrooms to have all straight K classes and combo 1-2 classrooms. After a call to the school I have learned that Colby's current teacher will be teaching a 1-2 class so Colby should be able to stay with her. That is a relief as he is doing very well with her and he is comfortable with her Unfortunately my nephew wasn't so lucky. His current teacher will be teaching a Kindergarten class next year so he will have a different teacher. He could even end up in Colby's class.


Now I must get ready for work. Have a quiet night

I don't know what DS's issue is, because I have a feeling there is more to the story than he is telling. But he is passing science today.
I called his counselor. She passed me off to the band director because he happened to be in the counseling office. He said DS CAN go to competition because he wasn't failing any core courses at the time of the last report card. There's a loophole worth knowing about!
DS can not seem to choose a story to stick with, so I know he is lying to cover something. I just can't determine WHAT. I'm pretty sure the counselor will not be very useful here. There are 3 counselors for 1000 kids so they tend to apply pressure to whichever kid is bleeding most profusely at any given moment.

I am glad Hunter is feeling better about things! I hope he continues to do OK!

That's how our elementary was before the lawsuit. It was a really good arangement because the kids were grouped by ability as opposed to grade level. We loved it! It did NOT work as well for 3rd & 4th grade.
