Could be something you ate, or it could be one of the bugs making the rounds. It is quick-hitting. Not the flu which is body aches, fever, respiratory ailments. But the gastrointestinal BLECH that many of my students have. I hope it is over quickly for you, Jennifer.

I'm not sure what it is. I ate some toast and felt better for a little, but now the nausea and stomach pain is back. The fever is increasing. we will see if I work tomorrow and Sun. normally I dont work Sun. but I have a wedding to go to next Sat.

Jennifer - I hope it is over quickly for you.

I have found it reviewed on many sites, but in all fairness most of those reviews are a yera or more old. There are a couple more recent reviews I can find that are equally bad and good! But any amount of bad ratings scares me.

Thanks, Elin! I have found one review on travelocity and a review on expedia. Neither sound promising. So I booked the Country Inns and Suites using the discount through the meet announcement site. They are out of that rate for our first night, but it could open up as teams decide not to travel. If not, we don't have to actually be in Gainesville that first night, so I'll book something a little further away if necessary.

The Country Inns and Suites lists the rooms on their website for $159+/night, but we can get a room for $99/night. The Quality Inn is $79/night, so that shows the difference. Also, photos on websites usually look better than what you actually get, and the Quality Inn photos certainly didn't look appealing to me.

We may not even need this, but I don't want to be stuck with nothing if we find out the team qualifies in May.

I've decided that I can tell the team mom that I wanted a room that allows 5 in case the entire family comes. The Quality only accepts 4.

:wizard: that it passes very quickly and no one else gets it!

I think that is a wise excuse, Beth! Are you planning to drive or fly?

We'll have to drive, because at least three of us are going, and we'll need a car when we're there. It would be too expensive to fly and rent a car. Of course, that means leaving 2 days after Matthew's graduation and driving two pretty full days.

wonder how close to us you will be...

Feel better, Jennifer!

Glynis - I have newborn experience, it just isn't recent. ;) I've had 3 newborn boys, including DS. The others were older when I started with them. 2 were 7 mos, 1 was 12 mos, Princess was 17 mos, and Sister was a little over 2 yrs.
I MUCH prefer to get them when they are younger so I am not trying to undo the bad habits the former nanny started!! Sister was a beast when I first got her. :scared:

I can't remember exactly where you are, but we'll most likely be coming straight down 81/15/270/495/95. Or at least that's how it looks on Google maps.

and there are many exits for our 'burg on I-95... :teeth:

Any chance of us getting together? Or will that really upset the kiddos?

Yes it is to late. I am sure all is ok, but I could just cry having to wait longer now. I have been holding it together, but I feel as though I am losing it. We have not said anything to the boys or family, so I guess we will both just have to hang in there a few more days.
I'm sorry Janet.

Those of you who have eaten at all the WDW incarnations of Wolfgang Puck... I am interested in your thoughts about the Cafe vs. the Dining Room. We have only ever eaten at the Express area in the Marketplace.
