I didn't measure before I shoveled the porch, but its a light powdery snow so the high winds move it around.

And VDOT says the road conditions are severe... so that means STAY OFF THEM!

That is a much better picture than mine! I could not find my ruler so I was using one of Bob's tapes. The thing wouldn't lock so I had to hold it as I tried to push it into the bottom of the snow and take a picture at the same time.

Now that I'm back online I checked the list of cancelations for the area. My daycare even closed. This is the first time since we've been going there (5 yrs) that they've closed. Ballet and religion are canceled for tonight. Guess we'll be hunkerin' down.
