Good morning! TGIF!!

This is the meal we ALMOST had at my house, but I got home from the grocery store later than anticipated, so it was salad and french bread pizzas.



for a good night's sleep for you, Deb. How did today go with doing both jobs?

It was a long day, but it was manageable. We'll see how today goes.

Well, today was a blah day here. I was kind of feeling off most of the day (I should have just stayed up from my early ADR call), and then I got a call from J this afternoon that he had a flat tire, and his tools didn't match up to the lug nuts on the tire. Fortunately, he wasn't too far away, so I drove over there to see if the tools in my car would work. Well, they didn't fit, either, and he was in a very, very foul mood. I can see why he was frustrated (plus it was like 86 here today and he had on a brand new suit), but he was short with me, and I just wasn't in the mood today. I was more mad, but then I started crying (damn these pregnancy hormones). That made him feel bad and he did apologize, but it just kind of put a sour note on the rest of the day.

We called for the roadside assistance (which is paid for by his company since it's their car), and I stayed with the car while he went to an appt. around the corner. Then, I had to go run the errands I had been on my way to do, but was now 90 mins. behind. All in all, I'm glad to see the end of Thursday. Time for bed now.

Hope the DDA is all having sweet dreams!

We did have a really good time, despite my bird encounter and the buses. I did notice the next time at MK the workers were keeping the food cleaned up, so there were less birds about.

Heidi - I have been pooped on in Frontierland. I don't like birds anyway - I think they are creepy.

Well, today was a blah day here. I'm sneaking in some extra DIS time today. We get fairly frequent, but short breaks throughout the day so maybe I can keep up 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there. I probably shouldn't put the cart before the horse, but the aquatics director told me yesterday that I will be getting a promotion already. She needs to get final approval from the facility director, but it "should" happen very soon, maybe even today. That means a raise I will also get a raise once I start teaching swimming lessons. If this all works out I will not feel so bad about taking a low paying job. It still won't be what I was making 10 years ago at Dartmouth, but there is far less stress with this job.

I'm heading back out to guard. That 10 minutes was quick.

Thanks, ladies! I am feeling somewhat better today (can you hear me knocking on wood???). I am on a mission for Robyn to find her some different wines for her new wine rack, so it is almost a given that I will be in Richmond tomorrow.
