Is there an entry for world record number of outfits the same child blows through while on Omnicef? Do you win anything for breaking it? :confused3

I hope Avery doesn't get worse. Glad to hear Elise is on the mend. Yes I agree, Its fun to have the DH's home but they do mess with the scheduling.:rotfl: I think I won that award with Daniel back in 2000. The child would wear an outfit for 45 mins & either poop or vomit all over it.

Jennifer,

Somehow I think Elizabeth KNOWS your not packed yet! Watch out.:rolleyes1

The sellers accepted our offer. We are in contract for our new home.

:woohoo:

Inspection on Monday.

That is terrific news!

Well, yesterday was another "blah" day for me, and I've had a headache since about 4 today that won't go away. I'm ready for my body to stop working against me!

I did have lunch with one of the partners I used to work with today - very sad situation, as he and his wife are getting divorced. What was even more shocking was to hear what precipitated this decision - her having an affair with an older married man, potential drug use, and a host of other things. I was shocked, as they are a couple we used to socialize with, and it sounds like she was living a secret life that no one knew of. I feel so bad for my friend, and for their 2 young boys (6 and 4). He's handling it well, and being VERY generous to her - he's buying her (well, really his sons) a house just a few blocks away from their current house so the boys will have as much continuity as possible since they're going to try joint custody (although he is going to enforce very strict parameters on that to protect his kids). It made me very thankful to have the spouse I have.

I also checked out the Disney liquidation store - Marci, I wouldn't waste the gas to go out there - I can't imagine it would be worth it for you. They did have some cute infant onesies and combo outfits, but none were unisex, so it didn't make sense to buy anything. Some of the stuff, too, I don't know where they got it from - it was not the quality of theme park or TDS merchandise - looks like they made some stuff on the cheap to sell it at these "discounted" prices. Plenty of people were there buying stuff, though.

Thanks for the info!

Jen -- I hope your family is feeling much better.

I have an infected lymph gland. The doc isn't sure what is causing it. So I googled it. :scared1: Hopefully it's from a sinus thing.

Have a good day everyone!

Oh no, hope it is cleared up soon.:wizard:

I hear you! It's a good day if we only have 3 blowouts.... they're instantaneous! God help me if I get both girls on it at the same time and Avery reacts the same way...

Marci - I hope your meds shrink that lymph gland!

:grouphug: for all of you.... that has to be uncomfortable for them too.

Wow - very quiet here this morning. Hope everyone is doing well!

Janet and Deb - I think you each deserve a nap later. :thumbsup2

Marci - I hope it's only related to your sinuses - :wizard: for getting some answers!

Jennifer - I'm so sorry to hear that you guys are still having such a difficult time. :wizard: :wizard: that you're through the worst of it, and that you guys are vastly improved in 8 days. I think you guys need to spend some time in a warm, tropical climate. :thumbsup2

Well, I'm feeling a bit more human today, so off to run some errands. I can't run too many errands, though, as Ally racked up a $300+ dollar vet bill this morning for just her annual visit. :scared: I do love her vet, but man, I wish he wasn't so pricey. Now to save up for the dental cleaning she needs next month.

Catch ya later!

I thought you couldn't eat ice cream since your surgery?

Lindsay I'm sorry about your friend. That sounds like something on a soap opera, not something in real life.

I can eat about 1/2 cup and then my body starts hating me. Right now, though, I have sugar free vanilla ice cream that I can eat without hurting myself. It's pretty good, too. With the Ben and Jerry's, I'll have to be more cautious! I limit myself to about 3 spoonfuls of that.

Morning, everyone! Whatever stomach bug Alan brought home on Sunday, has been passed along to me. I just feel all over icky and blah! Timothy and I had to run some errands this morning, but we're home now, and back in jammies. I'm going to curl up in bed with him this afternoon and see if we can get a good long nap in.

I'm going to take the easy way out and say ditto!

Lindsay, I'm glad you're feeling a bit more like yourself. Maybe it's a turning point for you.

Glynis - Oh no! Shame on Alan! Feel better soon, and :wizard: that you don't pass it along to Timothy.

Anne-Marie, congratulations! :cheer2:

Glynis, I hope you feel better ASAP! :wizard:

Marci, as miserable as sinus issues are, I still hope that's what your lymph node issue is related to, rather than anything else you saw when you were Googling!

I hope everyone is having a good day! :wave2:

Guess what?

Noah has another double ear infection (along with pink, gooey eyes) and Matthew's left ear is still infected. :sad2:

I will be commiserating with the Omnicef blow-outs in a few hours, Jen. Since Omnicef failed to help Matty, he's now on Primsol.

What did I say to you yesterday, Theresa? ROARRRR! ;)

Good morning!! (Hey for 40 more minutes it is still AM here:rotfl: )

I spent the morning on the phone warning my references that they should be getting calls this week.

My volunteer who has been battling breast/face cancer has to have brain surgery this Thursday AM as they have found a spot on her brain that they are worried about. This woman has fought courageously and with such grace, I just feel so bad for her. So please be praying for Carol and her family Thursday.

Abi has a band concert tonight and next Tuesday, Cassidy has a band concert and Abi a choir concert. :scared1: We only have another year of conflicting schedules...:sad1:

Now I am going to go take my shower....one of the perks of being jobless.

:wizard: :wizard: for your friend.

Poor babies!!

I had to figure out what Omnicef is....I am thinking I am glad my girls never had to take it:rolleyes1

Grrrrrrrr! works better for me:confused3

Glynis-I hope that Alan feels shame for sharing;) Hope you feel better shortly!!

Marci-there is somebody over on the CB with the same problem....hope yours is also just sinus related and resolves itself quickly!!:wizard:
