the shorts Olivia wore last summer still fit in the waist but some of them are a little short. some of them its the material some of them not so sure. I got her size 7 shorts and skorts and dress today at savers. I found a cute dress for her to wear for Easter, and 2 Disney dress one has Ariel on it the other one has Cinderella and Aurora on it.
Sounds like you got some cute stuff! I need to think about Easter-especially for Lizzy-I could always find something for Emma. Hey....maybe Lizzy could wear the flouncy skort I made for California Grill.:thumbsup2

Thanks guys--I apologize for my broken up post--I just needed to "talk" to someone..and you guys were it :)

I did some online shopping today-lots of Kohls things on clearance! free shipping over 75.00 too
Please don't apologize!

Sounds like you got some great deals! I like that you return online purchases to a Kohls store too-takes away the risk of online ordering.

Bernadette-you were a busy lady today!!:thumbsup2
NOPE! I haven't done much today....did the IPO thing Friday, the Christmas stuff & laundry yesterday. Today was a lazy day-just what I needed. I did do a couple of loads of winter jackets-I need to go take some out of the dryer.

Yes, I've had glasses since about 7th grade. Mostly I wear contacts, but if I'm just around the house I put my glasses on. I'm blind as a bat and they go on as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. My prescription has changed only slightly, so it's nothing that I really need to HAVE fixed, but I was wanting to find out what I could do about the up-close vision. He suggested monovision contact lenses. That is where one contact (dominant eye) is corrected for the distance and the other contact is fitted for up close vision. I can't imagine trying to get used to them, but people do I guess. I'm going to hold off getting them and live with what I've got until I can't take it anymore.
I know I could never do that monovision thing! I still have trouble walking down steep stairs in my progressives. I can read pretty well without my glasses on but can't read anything with corrective distance lenses only on. I got a much stronger reading lens in one eye the last time I got glasses and it was just about 13 months after I got a new prescription. My right eye was driving me crazy toward the end of my trip and after I got home. It wouldn't stop twitching. I know that for me that is a sign of eye strain. I wonder if it was because of my new camera where I only used the view finder??? We'll see what happens in May as I'll probably take even more photos then if we have good weather and the flower fest & all.

oh my goodness!! We must be making up for the posting spree on Saturday.

Tomorrow I will be working in the band room trying to help get the uniforms sorted for cleaning/repair....I bet it will be a bit stinky. :rolleyes1

I could do another day of my TR......

Jen- Sending you lots of good thoughts and :wizard: for Manny.

Bernadette- Yep, they are very similar, as long as she gets her way she is happy. But if not, watch out! I hope this phase doesn't last long. Yep, please do another installment.

Debbie- You must be so excited!!!!

Deb- Congrats on getting the job and good luck making it work. I have no doubt, though, that will.

Jennifer- Wow, Virginia is in a size 6 shoe! Lu is still wearing a 4. I swear she isn't growing.

Tom- I don't think I welcomed you all back.

Emma came home all excited from her new martial arts class. Her friend's dad said they both did really well and Em even managed to take down 2 boys. :cool2: Hopefully, she'll continue to like it.

Blech, it WILL be stinky. I hated being in our uniform closet. :scared:

Note to Self: Stay away from the band uniforms.

Robyn, Sister LOVED TaeKwonDo. She was terrible at it, but she loved to go! One of DS's classmates has her black belt from the same place where Sister was taking classes. :)

I am anxious to see her in action on Wednesday night, hoping it gives her a boost in confidence. This a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, not that I know what that really means yet. I can Mo loving this, but she has to wait until she is 5.

Brother could not WAIT to turn 4 so he could take TaeKwonDo. He was SOOOO excited. There was a photo of him in his uniform in the photo montage on the Hanukkah card, so I am assuming they still take classes.

That could come in handy someday! :thumbsup2 ;)

Of course, Mo was so excited to play soccer until she got knocked down 3 times!! But if Em is doing it she will want to do it.

Exactly!!

DS played 3 or so seasons of soccer. He really didn't like it. In fact, he really doesn't like team sports at all. He thought TaeKwonDo sounded like fun, but for his age group they wanted him to come to class 3 evenings a week and that was just too much.

Emma decided against soccer again and I am glad. I really do not like the organization and the way they handle the girls' placements.

The academy offers classes 2 nights a week and for $60/month Em can go both nights or just 1. And we don't have to guarantee them any length of time. So I don't think it's a bad deal. She will probably only go on Wednesday nights, as her friend is with her mom on Mondays (and she probably won't offer to take her DD)

Becky-did you get your room settled yet? I really like the atmosphere at California Grill. I also enjoy Raglan Road-and their CS is good too. I like Wolfgang Puck Express, Sunshine Seasons, Flame Tree BBQ, and Tangerine Cafe (Morocco) for CS. I also really enjoy Boma. I can't do a trip without at least 1 meal at Crystal Palace-I really like breakfast there-especially an 8am ADR on a day the park opens at 9am. Lunch & dinner are good there too. I am excited to try Narcoossee's with Joe in May.

I did, I am staying at ASMo. But I still need to find somewhere for one night. As I refused to pay over $200 to stay one more night on WDW property given that I need to be at the airport for an 8am flight. So I am going to find a cheapie room off property just to crash for my last night.

Apparently my last name has an r in it that I did not know about. Not only did the airline have an R added to my last name. I also received an email today that had my last name with an r at the same spot and spelled the same way as my plane ticket. :confused3

I also rented a car through the airline as it was cheaper then anywhere else I could find.

I still need to decide if I am making ADR's.

I am packing shorts, Capris, and pants. Long sleeve and short sleeve shirts. Sweatshirt and jacket. I need to have something to wear as I am going to work when I get back.

Jen- :wizard:  for Manny and his family.

Theresa- Good luck to you. I remember uniform sorting, hemming and washing all too well. Yep, our uniforms in college were machine washable. But they probably got cleaned more often then most because of that.

Becky glad you got your room booked, availability is starting to look very slim!

I'm going to say goodnight but before I do I just want to say.....

Debbie - I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow and that Aubrey arrives safely!!!!
