I have a stunning headache. I took 4 Advil and they didn't even take the edge off.

Yuck!! i hope it feels better soon!

Sounds like a very productive morning! When you're done, do you care to come to Dallas? ;)

Well, it's taken me all week to get this productive. Saturday was a good one, but every day since then was progressively worse. Last night I finally kicked some of the blahs and got some stuff done. Now I'm just trying to keep the momentum going.

So, look what I did yesterday....

Holly moly, batman! What a surprise. I'm so happy for you all!!!! Congratulations Lindsey and Jonathan!!!!

Its been snowing a while now and its very windy.

Oh no! Snow, go away! Heidi's got important place to be and mices to see tomorrow morning. Have a great trip Heidi!!!

PB&J is a staple right now for lunch - particularly after my doctor told me yesterday I should avoid deli meat - unless I'm willing to heat it up in the microwave first to kill any listeria. That about turned me green just at the thought!
My cousin LOVES Subway and almost hit her doctor when she told her this! :rotfl: But TOASTED Subway sandwiches are fine because the meat is "heated until steaming" so you can still have Subway if you really want one!
My other girlfriend is addicted to cottage cheese... :confused3

You poor thing! I know mine is not severe, and I somewhat feel bad trying to take medicine for it, but I feel better doing so after seeing my doctor yesterday. I did try Emetrol that's OTC for a while, but that stuff almost made it worse - it was like drinking a liquid lollipop - way too sweet!

I hope Stephanie feels better! :wizard: :wizard:

Thanks, Kristine!

Sounds productive! I was randomly thinking about your bug problem yesterday - glad it hasn't reared it's head again!

40 pounds - that's awful!  Zofran is what I'm going to try.

I actually haven't read anywhere about the deli meat - I just remember a coworker that was pregnant last year telling me about it (why she wouldn't get a Subway sandwich at lunch). I thought it was just more of the prepackaged stuff, so I had been having an occasional piece of turkey that I had them slice for me at the deli counter. But I asked my doctor about it yesterday, and she confirmed. Oh well - glad I can stand PB&J! (And thank goodness regular PB isn't on the recall lists!)

Zofran was one of the meds I used with Colby. There were others too, but I can't remember which ones. I was also on heartburn meds

Kelli - I hope that Stephanie is doing better soon. :wizard:

I still like v8 juice & corn nuts, just not at the same time now :rotfl:

Hmmm, never heard of the stay away from deli meat.

I was told the same thing with Timothy. Deli meats are a big no-no.

Ahh, good thought about the toasted ones. I wonder if the same thing would work in a toaster oven? Seems to me it would. I may have to try that down the line.

Just the thought of microwaving deli meat sounds really, really gross to me right now.

I'm not a huge Subway fan, but ate it a fair amount at work because it was right downstairs and thus convenient. I would so be a goner if I were at work right now - no adult beverages after work, no regular caffeinated drinks, no Subway for lunch - they wouldn't believe anything else I told them for sure! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I'm slowling getting things done at last. The party invitations are officially delivered. (I'd emailed the moms last week when I wasn't able to get them in the mail earlier.) All the mail has been taken care of. My email accounts are fully cleaned up - something that never seems to happen. Laundry is in process. I stumbled across the perfect template for the birthday decorations. Now I'm ready for a muffin and some coffee. After that, it's back to the party work since we need to go shopping for the rest of her stuff tonight.

what did you find?

You're sweet! :goodvibes But see, that's why I wasn't eating - I can only handle certain things right now, and I have to really gear myself up for them to even make them sound remotely appetizing in my head. Thank goodness the stomach flu has been going around, as it's been an easy scapegoat. :rotfl:

I am a little over 9 weeks - the due date is 9/22. We were a bit surprised to have success early on (fertility DOES NOT run in my family), but we are delighted. :cloud9:

I found out while I was in Florida - you could say Disney helped me be pregnant very early. I took a test just as a CYA to make sure I could ride all the rides with my dad - imagine my shock when it turned positive! :rotfl:

with Olivia grapes and peppermints helped not at the same time. Also wating something every couple of hrs helped.

With Virginia nothing really helped. I had phenergan and though it worked it made me sleepy.

Deli meat has been that way for at least 5 yrs. Also no fish from the oceans. I had heart burn with both girls luckily the maalox helped with that. Olivia only in the 2nd trimester. Virginia the 2nd and 3rd.
