Thanks, Robyn!!! (I'm hoping the font color you used is off though. ;) )

And thanks, Deb!!

Umm, I can't say I'm enjoying pregnancy as of yet, but I have a prescription for an anti-nausea drug that I'm hoping will take the edge off. I have no energy, either, and my skin has gone haywire! About the only thing I like so far is how strong and long my nails are. :goodvibes I'm hoping things vastly improve over the next few weeks, though.

I think it's just now really starting to sink in. Seeing photographic evidence of it is so flooring!

The timing is ironic - we are just so thankful Jonathan still has his job after last month! My problem is now going to be finding something to do on an interim basis, because I do have plans to stay home for at least the first few years. Ethically, I can't see putting myself out there for a job that I would only be in 6 months or so. I have been thankful I haven't had to drag myself to work every morning with the way I've been feeling, though!

I spent 2 years of my life being physically ill due to pregnancy and no nausea meds were available for the first 2 pregnancies. I can tell you that those meds are truly a gift from God. If one med doesn't work, keep asking because there are a few to try.

I love that smiley

Yep!

Ooooooh-now I remember:rotfl2: .....Heidi, Have an awesome time in Disney

Theresa hope you are feeling better soon!

Lindsay I hope the nausea goes away quickly! Thankfully I never really had morning sickness. Which probably was not a good thing for me, I ate whatever, whenever I wanted :rotfl:

With Garrett while at work I always had to have a v8 juice & corn nuts :confused3

Riley I craved mexican food & would wake up in the middle of night wanting pb&j sandwiches lol

Oh my gosh - that sounds terrible! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I can't say I've had any cravings yet, but there are things I normally like that I just haven't been able to stand. I had no Valentine's Day candy.

The one thing I seem to be able to eat at any time is a cheeseburger.

PB&J is a staple right now for lunch - particularly after my doctor told me yesterday I should avoid deli meat - unless I'm willing to heat it up in the microwave first to kill any listeria. That about turned me green just at the thought!

my oldest is a stinker....she shared a drink with a sick kiddo last week and then turned around and shared it with me....my throat is ticklish and my eyes are burning and I am still exhausted even though I got a reasonable amount of sleep.

She asked me to call her out for one class (in the middle of the day) and wasn't thrilled with my caveat...she has to come straight home after her last class and can't stay for any extra cirriculars.

:hug:I'm home with Stephanie today. Usually when she gets out of school for the day, she runs up and hugs me with a big smile on her face. Yesterday when I picked her up she was almost crying. She said her tummy hurt. Then we knew for sure she was sick when Craig offered her a french fry and she took it, but didn't eat it and went and laid down. She immediately was asleep. She woke up a bit later, had dinner, was her giggly old self and then when I went to bed, she said her tummy hurt again. She got up about 3 times last night for different things and then just looking at her she's miserable. She says her tummy still hurts and her head. She's all congested and has a slight fever. I didn't mind staying home today because I woke up stuffy too.

O'dark thirty. :cool1:

Yay!!! How exciting!!! BTW, I've never had a Dole Whip either.

It hasn't started snowing here yet, but we are expecting 6 inches.

I've been working on cleaning the livingroom. I really needed to vacuum and dust under the computer and entertainment centers. Unfortunately Nothing fits under them easily to get the job done so that took much longer than I wanted to spend, but it looks nice again. On a positive note I have not seen a single bug in weeks :thumbsup2

ICK! I have only heard of listeria on hot dogs, not on lunch meat! GROSS!

Once I got over the nausea I wanted chocolate milk and glazed donuts every day.

Kelli - Hope Stephanie is better soon!

Anything minty helped me during this last pregnancy. I lived on York Peppermint Patties for a while. Listen to your body, and you'll find stuff you can eat. Peanut butter always tasted good to me, too. Good luck with the meds! With Katie, I eventually had to be put on Zofran because the nausea was so bad. I lost 40 pounds in the first 6 months of that pregnancy.

I still like v8 juice & corn nuts, just not at the same time now :rotfl:

Hmmm, never heard of the stay away from deli meat.

yup, that is a new one suggestion since my pregnancy with Abi. It's amazing how much has changed in that time.

(With Cassidy I craved mexican and snickers....Abi was nothing in particular...could be why lost a pound with her)

You poor thing! I know mine is not severe, and I somewhat feel bad trying to take medicine for it, but I feel better doing so after seeing my doctor yesterday. I did try Emetrol that's OTC for a while, but that stuff almost made it worse - it was like drinking a liquid lollipop - way too sweet!

CONGRATULATIONS LINDSAY!!! :dance3:

Thanks, Kristine!

Sounds productive! I was randomly thinking about your bug problem yesterday - glad it hasn't reared it's head again!

40 pounds - that's awful!  Zofran is what I'm going to try.

I actually haven't read anywhere about the deli meat - I just remember a coworker that was pregnant last year telling me about it (why she wouldn't get a Subway sandwich at lunch). I thought it was just more of the prepackaged stuff, so I had been having an occasional piece of turkey that I had them slice for me at the deli counter. But I asked my doctor about it yesterday, and she confirmed. Oh well - glad I can stand PB&J! (And thank goodness regular PB isn't on the recall lists!)
