okay prayers needed for a co-workers children and grand children as a co-worker passed away yesterday and one of her kids found her in her bed. It was an emotional ending to a stressful day yesterday at work.

Is is okay to not make summer plans

It is ok in my book. There have been plenty of years where we did not have any plans till the last minute.

Well, whatever I had on Thursday and Friday has not completely gone away. Last night I had a really upset stomach, but blamed it on eating out and having non weight watcher approved food. Today I felt great in the morning though I had no appitite. As the day progressed I got spaghetti legs and overall shakiness. This is not good as I have a private party that I'm waiting on tonight. Hopefully tylenol will do the trick.

Is anyone else waiting for W-2s to arrive. We would love to get our taxes out of the way, but we're still waiting. I'd like to make sure we are getting a refund and see what that refund might be.

We are still waiting on a 1099 form, hopefully next week it will get here. I have everything else ready to go.

mine too, most years I have not had plans. But I am excited about my plans for this summer. The baseball game Houston Astros vs the Texas Rangers.

We only have one for sure trip so far, and that is WDW in August. I could book air at around $220 pp, but I'm hoping the extend some cruise deals, like the kids sail free deal. If that happens I would cut our WDW trip short and add on a cruise. So until I find out if anything is happening, I'm not booking my air, as the dates could change around.

Bob wants to do short, adult only trip, but I have no idea where to go that I wouldn't be wishing the kids were with me. Maybe Vegas?

Phil is doing much better today. He had the nasty stomach virus yesterday. By evening it was just a headache, slight fever and other achiness. Today he's feeling pretty good. Just the headache remains.

Good evening, DDA! It was a snowy cold day here today. Not too much accumulation, but we're supposed to get more tomorrow. We did go ahead though and see a few open houses today. Some really good options for our list. We're going out with the Realtor on Thursday as well and I'll try to get in some of the listings that I most want to see. After that, we'll see about narrowing the list to some of the favorites and what I want Phil to see.

I was given a turkey at work today & it is frozen solid. I normally buy fresh(well not frozen lol), so I do not have to deal with waiting for it to thaw. But I am not complaining! Just wondering how long it will take a 12 pounds to thaw in the fridge?

Whatever you think would be a reasonable amount of time, it will take longer than that!

I survived work. I still don't feel great, but I made it through. It was a very profitable evening as I had a large private party I really should eat something as I've only had a bowl of soup today. I really have no desire to eat though

I'm glad you were able to make it through the evening. And yes, you should eat something. I'm having a bagel with cream cheese as we speak.
