Glad the boots seem to be the perfect fit to Deb.

It's beautiful here again today and then we go back to normal temps this weekend. :upsidedow

Amy,
Thanks for the link to the pictures. You got so many great shots!!!

We have some people coming to see the house at 4pm. I am so tired of cleaning! :sad2: :lmao: Unfortunately we will be home when they come by as the kids are coming in from school at different times. I don't like to be here but today I have no choice.

Katie is doing community service (for her confirmation) tonight at a local blood drive. She has to watch the kids that come in with adults. That should be fun for her as she has never babysat a small child before & has no patience with her younger brother & sister.

We should have a warm up to 40 tomorrow! Woohoo!:cool1:

Glynis-We got Flat Stanley also....I guess he will be going to the Avalanche game with us as we have nothing else exciting coming up.

Well, that ought to be exciting to a boy made out of paper, right? Thanks for doing this. We new "Aunt Theresa" would help us out!

okay I am overwhelmed trying to figure out the Disneyland stuff. Tia or Glynis want to give me some ideas. Not sure if we will go but it would be nice. I am thinking between Dec. 1st and the 17th as that is when the 30% off is valid. Which Hotel and how many days?

I'm sure that Tia has already answered you, but here's my take. DL is totally doable in 2-3 days, if you don't mind rushing. We like to go for 5 days, so we can do everything we want to do at least once, and then repeat our favorites.

We've never stayed onsite, so I can't help you with onsite hotels. We always stay at the Park Vue Inn which is directly across the street from the main entrance to DL. It is a really nice hotel. They offer a continental breakfast for their guests, and have recently redone their rooms. They are right next to an IHOP that offers kids meals free with a paying adult. It works out well for our family (and with your numbers, that might be a good thing for you, too).

I've never been to DL during December, so Tia will have a better idea of crowds, planning, etc. However, I will say that everyone ought to experience DL at least once. Since you are WDW people, you'll probably end up liking that experience better, but there's just something about walking the streets where Walt walked, and knowing that he and his family actually spent many days and nights in the park is really special. Just my 2 cents on the topic.

Here's a photo of my latest outfit for Leighanna.
I finished it late last night, so Leighanna didn't get to model it for me.
I am sure you will see lots of photos when we return though!

Oh, my goodness! I'm in LOVE with this one!!!! You know how I feel about Lady and the Tramp! I bet Leighanna looks just gorgeous in it!

Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes! They have brightened my day!

Today's "Presents" actually started last night. The night before last, Timothy woke up every single hour during the night. Finally, at 2:00 a.m. I brought him into bed with me, and he dozed for 20 minutes at a time, then wanted to eat. Consequently, by morning I was exhausted. I was looking forward to napping, but with Leslie sick, that didn't happen. Well, Alan got home from work and informed me that he had a business meeting. I guess I looked at exhausted as I felt, because he took Timothy with him. That meant that after I got the kids down at 8:30, I was free to go to bed. Which I did! I didn't even hear Alan and Timothy come in! Timothy didn't wake up until 2:30 this morning, then he ate, and went back down until 6:30.

Katie got up early, and with Alan's help, they made pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast. I was so touched with Katie wanting to cook for me! After breakfast, the kids all got themselves ready for school without arguing. Definitely the best present so far! There have been whispered conversations about something that will happen tonight, but I don't know what it is. Alan is taking me out for dinner tomorrow night, so tonight will be a family celebration!

Congratulations to all those losing weight!!!! I'm not focusing on losing, but I am working out on the Wii every day. It seems to be helping my balance!

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes!

I had a long nap, though it was broken up a bit. Colby slept part of the time then spent the rest of the time "checking" on my every 15 minutes or so. He gets scared if he can't see me. Of course he thinks I should leave him home alone while I go pick up his brothers :rotfl2: I asked him how he could manage 30 minutes alone when he couldn't manage with me just down the hall :confused3 I still feel achy and my tummy is wonky. I just hope this day of rest wards off any of the really sick stuff that has been going around.

That does sound like a wonderful day. I hope there is lots more fun to come.

Deb sorry to hear you are still not feeling 100%. Gary has some type of bug, he has been running to the bathroom all day.

Did he eat any peanut butter products?

Not since last week. We all have eaten out of that jar, so I am assuming it is ok.

Supposedly it is not the brand named peanut butters that are effected. We have Peter Pan and Skippy here that we are still eating. The skippy I bought a long time ago so it should be fine. The Peter Pan is a couple of weeks old, but we've eaten some of it and no one has been sick. I don't have any peanut butter cookies, cakes, crackers or ice cream here so I think we are okay. The school has banned all peanut butter products until this is cleared up. They will take it away from kids if they bring it in.

I am fascinated by Facebook, but I don't know if I will be spending inordinate amounts of time there. All of the DDA who still have accounts should have received a "friend" request from me, but some of them were doing kind of weird stuff so I am not sure all of them went through successfully. :confused3

I think we have a sick cat :guilty: Blue, our Himalayan has been wheezing when she breathes & coughs like she has a fur ball but nothing comes up. I am thinking she has some upper respiratory problems. I called the vet & will drop her off in the morning.

Please send some pd that it is nothing serious & hopefully something medicine can take care of.
