DDA Chapter 17

Marci hope you feel better soon :wizard: Key lime pie sounds really good, yum!

Love the picture in your signature :goodvibes

We do! :yay:

(No dates yet, until we request Kyle's vacation in the next month or so)

I am looking at dates to hopefully use the 40% code I received & I would love to go with the boys to MNSSHP.

Of course this is just all thinking right now lol

Today is a good day to cook a nice big pot of chili :thumbsup2

I just went out & started my truck. She hesitated, so I guess I will do this throughout the day. If we had a garage I am sure I wouldn't have to do this, but we don't so that is a mute point huh lol

BTW it is fricking cold out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's with this weather Janet????!!!
-12 is the regular temperature!! :scared1::scared1: I am afraid to see what the wind chill is! I wonder if my car will start???

Jen, ah the joys of being around germy kids. ;)
Hope you feel better soon. :wizard:

Deb glad to hear the lab work was normal, hope the rest of the test come back the same. pixiedust: pixiedust:

Becky hope you have warmed up. We got more a few more inches of snow last night and this morning. I want spring!

Elizabeth is 35 days out to soon to pack?

:rotfl: :rolleyes1 ;) :teeth:

If anybody is still up...send some pixie finding dust this way...we think Dude got out some time this afternoon and it is way to cold for him to be outside.

ETA: the ferret rescue guy was wrong....at least with Dude. He said ferrets have no homing instincts, Dude never left the area surrounding our building. We found him shivering under our porch.

I'm glad that you found him. Riley isn't even trying to get out these days. He has figured out how cold it is :lmao:

Elizabeth -- I'm sorry that the house didn't work out, but hope you will be able to find something that works for you and your family.

Deb -- I didn't post last night, but did see your update and said a prayer for Hunter and for strength for your family. It sounds like the blood work was very positive. I hope the EKG comes back with great results.

For those with ridiculously cold temps -- please take care!

Theresa -- it sounds like you had a great interview. You must be thrilled to have an opportunity considering the job climate. I agree, though, a potty is a must!

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Randy. I think he had a great birthday. Of course, that key lime pie derailed my eating, and along with other snacking I gained a pound. I did get on the elliptical for 30, so it could have been worse. I think my sinus infection I had while at Disney never quiet went away, as I'm pretty miserable again. I guess I'll call the internist and let them know what is going on. A bright point -- I don't like to eat when I feel like this, so maybe I'll lose the pound. I do plan on starting back WW again. I'm not doing well on my own.

Have a great day everyone!

You can consider maintaining weight a victory, other than the key lime incident you've been doing great :thumbsup2

I lost about 1 1/2 lbs last week. I'm sure it would have been more, but yesterday derailed me a bit, especially when we were sitting in the waiting room for blood draw and Colby handed me almost his entire ice cream. Of course I ate it :sad2: Otherwise I've been doing well.

Vicki safe travels today.

I'm off to bed. I'm exhausted. I probably won't be on tomorrow. I'll be driving home after work if the roads & weather cooperate. Have a great day DDA.

I had planned to run a couple of errands this morning, but -10 degrees kept me home. I have to pick up Colby at 11:15 so I think I'll run the errands very quickly then. He won't want to go, but he is one of the reasons that I have to go. He used his last Good Nights pull up last night so we need a new package before bed tonight. Other than that we will be in for the day. It is just too cold.

It's crazy! It is -21 here now

Not to many people are out today & I am so glad I have the day off.

Hope your car starts :wizard:

Hope you can make it this time Deb. And :yay: for chearper tickets.

I just bought tickets to Disney on Ice in Manchester, NH. It is only about 1 hr 15 minutes from here. The same show that we missed after Christmas. Hopefully we can make it this time. The tickets were even cheaper too.

I'm also watching some ski boots on ebay. I can't afford a new pair as the prices are ridiculous. Hopefully I can get a nice used pair for cheap. I really only ski a couple of times a year and that is while the boys in in lessons so I don't need anything special.
Good lucking getting the ski boots.
