DDA Chapter 16

I can't access my information anymore...only the AKV points...the 600 other points have magically disappeared.....and not one single person apparently is willing to fix it, or acknowledge the problem.

Oh no, that is not good!

It sounds like a clarification as opposed to an addition. Since the price is inclusive of all 3 courses they can't exclude the appetizer for DDP guests. Maybe people were confused by that? :confused3 There really wouldn't be a way to pay OOP for the kid's appetizer because they aren't priced a la carte.

Danged mistakes and confusion. No problem, just bacl to no DDP for me unless it's free.

back from the vet....good news is that the dog has a treatable eye infection....although a nasty one.

bad news...he has a heart murmur....and many bad teeth...so they were telling me I should have teeth removed....a heart ultrasound etc. After they started quoting me over $2000 I just zoned out.

:scared: I'm glad that the immediate issue can be easily resolved. on your decisions for the rest. the vet wanted $250 to pull the cat's tooth a few years ago and I opted not to. A day or two later the bad tooth just fell out on its own and he was good to go :thumbsup2 I have no idea if dogs teeth will fall out like that too or not :confused3

So we started with 12 ounces of water. So far we have dissolved over 20 teaspoons of sugar into it and it STILL isn't saturated. :headache: It seems like I heard there are 30 teaspoons of sugar in a 12 oz. can of soda. I wonder if that's how much it will take? :scared1: We have been dumping sugar into the cup for over an hour. I think the water is magic and has an infinite capacity to dissolve sugar. :sad2:

I think we used a cup of sugar in a jar of water to make a super saturated solution when Nick was growing crystals one year.

On a better note, though... Stonehill College came up with a little more money so Kathrin accepted the job and will start work next Monday! :woohoo:

:cool1: :cool1: That is terrific news:cool1: :cool1:

I am so annoyed at DVC now I am tempted NOT to buy BLT points

Why?

I can't access my information anymore...only the AKV points...the 600 other points have magically disappeared.....and not one single person apparently is willing to fix it, or acknowledge the problem.

That sucks. I would call them multiple times each day to check my point balance or ask other questions that could be easily answered if you could access your contracts. Annoy the crap of of them. The squeaky wheel gets the grease ;)

Colby still had a tummy ache and sore throat, but we expected that as Chris has had it for 5 or so days. He did go to school and the teacher said that he was very quiet today, but otherwise he didn't complain. They are going to keep an eye on him as far as his losing focus goes and well chat about it later. I have a bit of a sore throat too, but I only need to work tonight then i've got a couple of night's reprieve.

I'm glad to see so many of you jumping on the weight loss bandwagon. The more the merrier. I need all of the support that I can get these day. So far I have no cheated on my diet yet, though I did make a 3 point mistake today when I put mayo on my sandwich. That just means I have 3 less points tonight.

That is great news! Congrats to Kathrin, though I'm sorry to hear about her former co-workers.

they did....whack a doodles were happy to get up at 6 and 6:30 (so glad they know not to wake me up!!)

I am not doing so well, physically or mentally, which is why my posting is at a minimum.

I'm so sorry, Theresa. Everything will work out in the end, I know. Until then, lots of  for you.

Sorry to hear Colby still isn't feeling well. I'm with you on the weight loss as well. My main goal right now is to get back to including exercise in my day.

Disney overbooked this weekend at Coronado. :teeth: My clients (and the runners who booked their package through the sports department) are now confirmed at the YACHT CLUB!

That's fun! :thumbsup2

nope, nothing, nada, zilch, zip.....:rotfl2:

I have done my requisite 6+ resume sending out today though.:thumbsup2

I am sorry your efforts haven't panned out yet.

The points not showing on the screen problem?

I would love to stay and chat but there are a boatload of kids who want piano lessons this afternoon and evening! ;) See you all later on tonight.

Pesky kids.

Sounds about right. On the whole, Disney's IT folks are rather worthless.

Danged mistakes and confusion. No problem, just bacl to no DDP for me unless it's free.

Sorry. Without the tips I don't think anybody saves that much money on DDP anymore.

DH just phoned to tell me they have turned that cup of water into syrup but the granules are still dissolving. Why can things not behave like we think they will? :sad2: I think they are going to just give up on the granules staying granular and move to the next type of sugar.

Did everyone see that Space is scheduled for rehab 4/19/09 - "Late" 2009? I don't think August qualifies as "late" so looks like DS will miss out this year!

:wizard: for Colby.

pixiedust: for Colby!

That stinks about the mayo. One thing about being HUGE is that I have lots of points to use right now. I remember when I was almost at goal and had 18 points for the day. Then I used to really resent having to "waste" 4-6 points on milk.

So far, so good for me today...but it's only day 1. Then again, I've been having trouble even completing day 1 lately.

while the kids (and Jim) were home I didn't do it as well as I could have...that will change as soon as I feel comfortable being a few feet away from a bathroom. (sometime last night I had a lovely intestinal bug hit me):rotfl:

I do have a lunch date on Wednesday...and I think I will make a warm treat for when the girls come home.

pixiedust: that you feel better soon!

And even more pixiedust: that life gets brighter soon, too!

I just got a phone call from Kathrin. Seems her former employer has "locked down" all the computers in the offices and people "are watching the axe fall left and right." I predicted that would happen eventually, but I am sad for those who are left because there isn't any money for severance packages like Kathrin got. :sad2:

That is very sad. :sad2: As bad as it was for Kathrin, I'm glad that she got out when she did. And CONGRATS to her on the new job!

YIKES!!! Sounds like time for a second opinion...

I sure did! Must be because those 4 letters look so much alike. Or that they are close together on the keyboard.

Or that I wasn't using my brain. :rotfl2:

Oklahoma, Texas, they're pretty much the same thing, right? :rotfl2:

Here I just thought Elin had the best memory of any of us, and knew Jen was in OK visiting or something when the snow hit! I was very impressed! :)
