Believe it or not, they did. She called around 10PM last night and they were leaving because everyone had sore feet. How would they ever last a week? And if you've made it that long, it's only 2 more hours until the fireworks! Anyway, she rode Buzz, TTA, Indy Speedway, Jungle Cruise. No SM, HM, BTMRR, SpM, iasw. She may have done more but that's all he got out of her.

That's pretty impressive! I was betting they were turned away at the gate! Still, I can't imagine it was much fun.

No word from DH yet.

DS was up until 2 AM and he is already up. He will definitely be taking a nap today.

Good morning..I know ill be taking a nap today! I was up at 7 (after falling asleep at 230) and i forcedm yself to sleep a bit more...but im still exhausted!

We're up. Colby fell asleep around 12:30, Hunter around 1 and Chris and I around 1:30. I'm not sure when Nick finally went to sleep We did sleep in, until the phone started ringing. apparently my DB's family DVRd the ball drop to watch today My nephew called at 9 and woke us up. Chris ended up staying up and I tried to go back to sleep until SIL called at 9:30. Apparently they are repainting their bedroom today and needed the little ladder that DB left in our basement when we installed the furnace. Now I'll wait for Nick to wake up then I'll tackle his room. Colby and Chris are watching a Luney Tunes marathon.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

We had a nice evening....the kids and Bill and I went out to dinner....came home watched a movie......and right after the fireworks went off in town we went to bed.

This morning we will go out for our traditional New Years Day breakfast. That is if I can get the kids all moving!!

Colby just got all of his alphabet done in 2 minutes 43 seconds. That almost cut in half his time from yesterday. He only missed 4 that he had to redo

Let me ask you guys a stupid question about the Wii..
I know you can get the Wii or the Wii bundle---im looking online but i have no idea what is in the Wii bundle--and is it worth it?

Joe and I are going to buy one, but they leave for the cruise tomorrwo so I want to make sure I get the right one, in case i find one while he is away--so i have to check with him today

Im going to be sending a note home to my parents when we get back--Im asking them to do what you are doing basically! I want to see if i can get the kids all practicing the letters and letter sounds..That way, it will be easier for them as we start decoding words and writing words. Way to go colby!!!

I have to agree with everyone's sentiments tonight. I find myself surrounded by aquintances, but the group I have here I consider dear friends and I am very thankful for each and every one of you.

To all my DDA Friends: My life was definitely blessed when I found all of you. Thanks for your friendship and support! Let's make 2009 a great year!

It looks like it was just the 30GB 2006 model. Still, it seems a ton of them are still around because it made the news VERY quickly!

ETA: Sorry yours were affected! They are supposedly up and running now, after IT people worked furiously!

We are letting them run down so that we can then charge them and test them. It sounds like they'll be fine.

I'm glad you are back safely. If I would have known, you could have come over and hung out with us. But I know how enjoyable that alone time can be.

Thanks for the offer, Tammi! But I never made it up till midnight. I texted my family to tell them I loved them and laid my head down to see the fireworks at WDW but the next thing I knew it was 8:30 this morning!

Nick is not moving very fast this morning. I had to work on a different project. I did manage to get a load of laundry started and I took down our Disney tree The ornament tote worked so well. I only wrapped ornaments that were sharing a compartment. That tree breaks down to 3 pieces so it was really simple to undecorate. The other tree will take hours

I made my mother's Crown Ring Rolls for breakfast this morning, but Kristin is still asleep. The pork and sauerkraut are in the oven for dinner and the kitchen is cleaned up again. I am watching the Roswe Bowl parade and looking around me...

There are six suitcases sitting in my living room that are full of clothes and WDW "stuff" and Christmas decorations. I have absolutely no desire to work on those right now. And I plugged my Christmas trees in this morning and intend to keep them up a few more days. I feel like I hardly had a chance ot enjoy them.

I am still very tired and have no desire to do much at all except veg out today. Kristin has to go to work tomorrow so maybe that will be my day for laundry. Unless I can persuade her to do some today!

Morning DDA and Happy New Year! The pork roast is in the crock pot and we are just sitting around watching RedBox movies right now. Finally saw Kung Fu Panda and when this one is done we'll be watching Burn After Reading.
