Bethany is in St. Aug. Florida with her mom for winter break. They went down the day after Christmas. Bob was talking to Bethany last night and found out that they were going to MK today!I'm CERTAIN that her mom has NO CLUE about what it's going to be there like today, with absolutely NO planning involved. More like "what do you want to do for NYE? Hey, let's drive down to MK for the day. Ok, sounds like fun." They were driving 3 hours from St. Aug this morning. I bet Bob that she would be lucky to ride 5 things, provided they even get INTO the park. There is NO WAY that they would arrive before 10AM, just knowing her mother and the fact that she doesn't do mornings well. When I say arrive, I mean arrive as in driving INTO the park. Add another hour just to get through the parking gate, park, tram and monorail. Plus MK was an EMH morning, starting at 7AM. I can't wait to hear about their day. I have visions of it being a disaster. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I doubt it.
Yeah, I saw that earlier.
I'm sorry on all accounts. But good news that they don't see any cancer!!!!Soooo...
Mom just called. She has to go to the lymphedema clinic EVERY DAY starting next week. They do think it will get better, but not without intervention. I couldn't help it. I said "Did I NOT TELL YOU THAT?"Yes, I DID tell her that. I told her that over a month ago. So now she gets to go to the clinic every single day. Her arm will be wrapped from shoulder to fingers. She will also be going to radiation every day as soon as they figure out what kind of radiation her insurance will cover. She is thinking about taking a leave from her job until her treatment is finished.
On a good note, she had a full body PET scan and they did not see any evidence of cancer!![]()
If anyone has some good thoughts or prayers to spare, Susan's FIL's funeral was this morning.
My friend Danielle phoned to tell me her mom is in the hospital. Her mom has been battling cancer for quite awhile, so I am worried about what this hospitalization might mean.![]()
Thanks, I have been playing with it for 20minutes just so the words at the bottom don't get cut off.I like your new picture, Anne Marie.
Good Morning Friends,
Happy New Years Eve!
It's time for me to head back to work, then tonight it will be packing and some cleaning, no party here. Tomorrow I have to work in the morning before hitting the road. DH's back is on the mend but still not completely better, hopefully today we will see much more improvement.
Debbie I hope there is much improvement with dh's back before you leave tomorrow![]()
Yes it is. The winds did die down a bit last night as we didn't hear much, and the snow started flying as John left for work.
