Let's see if I can catch up-

Glad Sophie's birthday was good (except for the van damage:headache: )

Elizabeth-glad to hear that your mom's doctors are on top of things!! Prayers will continue for Susan and her family.

Happy Birthday Garrett!!

I know I've missed others....so a bunch of :grouphug: for everybody!!

That was the bowling place we went to at the end of the school year in May. That is not the place we usually go. OK, so we don't USUALLY go bowling, but that's not the place where I have taken DS in the past.

I just did 32 minutes on the Wii Fit. I like the step aerobics. I just unlocked "free step" tonight. I need to put some music on the iPod so I can step to something other than that click-click-click noise.

I think my earlier post about Susan was confusing.
Danielle is another friend of mine, and it is Danielle's mom who is in the hospital. Her mom had breast cancer about 5 years ago, but now she has been battling some sort of GYN cancer. She was doing well and was here visiting at Thanksgiving, so I am not sure why she is in the hospital now.

I thought it might be Danielle....what a tough time to be in the hospital...no matter the reason!!

Time to get ready to head out--See you all next year :)

I hope you all have a wonderful 2009! I couldnt ask for better friends to go into the new year with!

Chuck read about this earlier. We both have one of these but haven't used them since the problem has been reported. We are both talking about getting them out to see if they work.

Good luck!

Do you like to unpack on vacation? The rooms at CR have virtually no storage. I'll let you know what I think of Poly NON concierge when I go in January. I hope I like it as much as I did when I went concierge. I'll upload photos of the family suites. I really liked the setup.
We usually live out of our suitcases so that wouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the pictures. I really think the 2 rooms & 2 potties would be ideal for us. Especially since Katie takes 45 minutes showers at the least.:scared: Looking forward to your review at the Poly

Two more "dead" zunes in our house. Microsoft says to run them down totally and turn them on tomorrow. They think they should be fine then. I sure hope so. I depend on my zune while I'm travelling and sleeping in motels by myself.

Kristin and I are home from PA. I am all the way back on page 114! You all were chatty. :teeth:

We made great time yesterday, arriving in plenty of time to check into our hotel and get up to see my FIL before heading over to the funeral home for the first visitation. We had a quick bite around dinner time (the neighbors have filled the refrigerator and freezer to overflowing) and then went back for the second visitation. It was nice to see so many friends and family that I haven't seen in years and to be there for Bob and his brothers.

We got up to snow and high winds this morning. Kristin and I decided to go to the funeral home and the church for the mass and then to start home. I am glad we did because we ran into a lot of blowing snow across the roads for the first 2 hours or so. It continued to snow off and on clear into Virginia, which really surprised me. The trip home took about 5 1/2 hours which surprised me since we had a rough start. I am glad to be home. Bob won't come until Saturday or Sunday. I know he hopes to tie up some loose ends and make sure that his 91 1/2 year old father is well cared for.

He said to thank you all for your kind words. He has decided that you all are pretty neat people. Well, DUH! I have been telling him all along that you are AWESOME! :goodvibes

I am tired. Kristin's cold is somewhat better and she has taken off to play Rock Band with her friends tonight. I am looking forward to having some time alone!

We were watching some old tapes (yes tapes!) of the kids at Disney when they were all babies. :sad1: Besides the fact that the kids were little (& cute!:cutie: ) it was funny to see some of the changes at WDW. Like the trees in front of the castle that are no longer there. The garland across main street which was not there this December. The old Tarzan show at AK & the 2002 version of MVMCP parade.

It was there last week! I was kind of surprised since it wasn't there when you all were there after they taped the Christmas parade!

:welcome: home Elin.:grouphug: :grouphug:

I hope all of you are doing well as we quickly approach 2009. I want to thank all of you for your friendship, support, and just being there whenever I need some where to vent.

So the viewing is on Friday for both of them. Saturday starts off with a service for Miriam, then they are going to the one cemetery to bury her. After her burial then it is back to the funeral home, for a separate service for Herbie. Then back to a different cemetery for his burial.

I am definitely going to the viewing on Friday. I do not think I will be able to make it to the funerals as I have to work on Saturday. Although I may make it for the later things.

My Aunt may or may not be coming home early from her run away trip. They are her MIL and FIL. It would be good if she was there for her kids. We shall see what happens.

As the world turns.

I am home for the night. Although I may go out for free coffee at Sheetz.

What the heck is this white crap falling from the sky?????

Grumble, grumble. I have to go to the grocery store. I have to finish laundry. I have to undecorate. I have to mop my floors. :headache:

What I want to do is be a bum and upload my photopass pictures and put borders on them and work on my trip report. I want to meet Terry someplace and get her cd of all the trip pictures and give her mine. I want to buy some adult beverages. :hippie:

We shall soon see what actually happens. In the mean time...

party:Happy New Year's Eve!!!! party:

Well, the snow stopped.

I went to the grocery store. Twice. :thumbsup2

I have a load of laundry working. :laundy:

I went to the adult beverage store and my purchases are cooling. I bought some small bottles of Kobel California wine. :thumbsup2

I am working on the floors. Doing them during commericals. I am making my calls. Trying to find my photopass so I can upload. :thumbsup2

We were going to First Night downtown, as all of the venues are indoors. But my wimpy grandson couldn't stand the wind enough to make it from one spot to the next. When he's miserable, everyone is miserable. So we are staying home. :woohoo: :woohoo:

party: :cake: Happy Birthday Garrett party: :cake:

party: :jumping1: :rainbow: Happy New Year Friends. party: :jumping1: :rainbow:

Well it was a light dusty snow, that I have no idea how much over the 2 inches we got as it is so damn windy.
And as the night wears on the winds are even worse. :sad2:

No snow here yet, maybe this weekend though!
