I just got home--On Christmas eve, we have dinner wtih my dad's side of the family, which is huge! After, we went to one of our firemen uncles for dessert and just got home. My brother and I always exchange on Christmas Eve--I got him a DVD player and gift card for the cruise...he gave me a dallas cowboys mini helmet signed by Roy Williams! (one of their players!!) I was so excited!

His girlfriend and I decided to exchange too--she got me a dallas calendar and pillow shams..i loved them!

and now here i am :0

I tried. They weren't stirring. I'm just all out of sorts with everything that's been going on. So since they weren't moving, Santa came!

Will the kids be gone all weekend? I can't imagine how you must be feeling & I hate that you feel so down. For what it is worth you know we are all here for you

So here is what my livingroom looks like. With flash and without. It certainly doesn't look like a lot of presents, but believe me, that's several hundred dollars worth right there. How meager!

Tammi I love your fireplace, your living room looks so elegant! Your tree is beautiful & that is about how the gifts look under our tree. It doesn't take much anymore to spend hundred's on a few gifts. I know your kids will be thrilled!

Merry Christmas everyone! Bob and I are home from church service and in our pjs and settling down to watch National Treasure. We are breaking into our cat's stockings to get their new collars off the tags for them - and make it easier for us tomorrow.

Tammi - your living room is perfect. I'm sure both of them will love it in the morning. Are your stockings filled? My mother ALWAYS had an orange in the toe for us.

I'm out of here. I had a nice visit with my brother and saw all the kids. It was a little spotty because the reception on the internet is low for him. But it was great seeing them. He will be moving to Tampa probably by March 2009. We may have to leave Disney for a couple of days if he gets there early in the month. Otherwise, we'll have to definitely plan a trip in the fall to get back to Disney and get down to see him.

I'm sorry. It makes me sad that poor Alyssa is sick and wants to stay home yet her father refuses to take that into account. Jerk.

Katrina is not feeling well. I hope she feels better in the morning. She had a really bad headache and has been sleeping for sometime now.

Janet - Good luck getting everything to fit in your fridge!

I got the Jello all put together so it is just in one pan now. I ran the dishwasher, loaded it back up, scrubbed out the sink with Soft Scrub, and told DH I am FINISHED with the kitchen! He got home from work about an hour ago. He said the traffic is nuts - people are just in such a hurry they don't care how they drive.

DS knows he is getting a Wii Fit and a bunch of clothes, but he is still really excited. I hope he's not disappointed. He says he just likes Christmas and he wants to open presents, even if it is just clothes. Okey dokey, then! He just brushed his teeth and went to bed. I guess I need to go get his stocking stuffers and fix those up before I fall asleep!

well I just got a phone call from work. We have 14 nurses scheduled tomorrow and they are only using 8 tonight. We draw names to see who stays home on Major holidays. Well I was #7 on the list. The phone call was to tell me that I was #4 home on call. 3 other people turned her down. she will probably put 2 others on call in the morning as well. Olivia was so excited. That I was staying home in the morning.

Thank you, and thank all of you for being my rock when I go through times like these.

Yes, that is a Barbie Townhouse knock-off. I bought it from a co-worker for $80. They go from anywere between 130-200. He got it for his daughter last year and she never played with it. It's in pristine condition, and he gave me all the furniture that came with it.
