Deb glad the bike was found!

Elizabeth I was just looking in my fridge wondering how I am going to fit the stuff that I need to make tonight. I am going to have to do some balancing acts or something lol

Tammi sending you lot's of    I do hope Alyssa shakes this soon, a Dr. visit might be needed if not

Becky good to hear that your fever broke, I hope tomorrow has you feeling better :wizard:

Garrett told me tonight that he knows he is getting to old, but he is excited about tomorrow. I told him that you are never to old to be excited about Christmas. I am so happy to see that little child still in him :goodvibes

My brother just called. He is setting up his webcam. He will call me back shortly once it is done installing. Then we'll have a live chat. I can't wait to see Billy, my nephew. :lovestruc

Wonderful Vicki!

I cut the fudge up tonight that we made last night. It is a little soft, but taste pretty good. I never can make fudge right. Which is probably a good thing so I don't eat it all the time lol

Twas the Night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Deb - I'm so glad the bike was located! Hope Chris can fix it on his own without having to mess with the companies anymore. Yeah that your brother and kids got to come!

Tammi - Glad you're doing okay. I hope that Alyssa feels better soon. You'd think her dad would be happy to have her come after she felt better.

Becky - I hope tomorrow if the magic day that you feel 10 times better!

Vicki - Hope the webcam is an easy set up and you are talking to your brother and nephew soon.

We had a nice night and now the kids are playing Wii Music. Phil's plane are all in route so that's good. He's running a little late, but not too bad. His brother is still good to pick him up. Plus, his brother sounds excited about spending Christmas morning with Terra. I always feel bad as I know he'll be a great father and he does the uncle thing so well, but he doesn't get to do stuff like this often with their family un-togetherness issues.

Well, I have forgotten that I wanted to get Terra through the shower before tomorrow so I guess I'd better do that. Good night everyone!!

I just noticed that I had a text from Elin earlier today. She said that both her girls made it in safely and that they were hanging by the pool. She even got burnt! Then they were going to head over to MK to see the castle lighting.

Janet - You just reminded me that we forgot to read Twas the Night Before Christmas tonight. We always do that every Christmas Eve, and with everything going on I completely forgot. I have half a mind to go wake the kids up so we can read it.

Maybe that would help make you feel a little better tonight :goodvibes

Tammi - Oh, no! I am sorry! What a gem Bob is to help out so you can rest! Don't push yourself. It would be bad to get to Mass and then feel like you are going to puke. :scared:

Chanon - We have a separate jewelry/watches rider on our insurance but I don't know if that is necessary. I also don't know about exclusions for lost items. I know our cameras are NOT covered for loss at WDW, only theft.

Oh dear!! Tammi-I hope you feel better quickly.

Chanon-look a 2nd or 3rd time.

I would have to say she loved everything but her favorite was her princess Kitchen and princess nursery oh and her cinderella laptop

ohhh...she got a Disney Christmas through and through didn't she??:lovestruc

Maybe that would help make you feel a little better tonight :goodvibes
I tried. They weren't stirring. I'm just all out of sorts with everything that's been going on. So since they weren't moving, Santa came!

So I still feel icky. I do feel a bit better but still no way near normal. Then again I was told it would take until tomorrow at a minimum to feel better. I think I am finally fever free after 4 days of a fever.

Everyone else went to the Christmas eve service I stayed home in bed.

I am now watching Mr. Bean's Christmas Episode.

oh dear Becky- I was hoping you would feel better by now!!

We left here and checked our mail. The items from Disney Shopping arrived.
So all of our gifts have arrived and we had a nice meal with family and a few friends. We had planned to play games, but they couldn't find the remote for the DVD player and all the games I brought had DVDs. It was too noisy to watch a movie so we are watching one now.

Sounds like a good end to a Christmas Eve!! Hope the Spirit hits!!

Deb, glad you found the bike! I hope Chris is able to get the wheel straightened out! :wizard:

DH went off to work and left me to be the UNwilling custodian of the ham. :headache: He said yesterday he didn't think it would cook in time, and he was RIGHT! I had to take it out of the oven, jab it with the thermometer, and then slice off enough to feed DS for dinner. That was the easy part. The hard part was slicing up the rest of it to put it in the fridge! I have one Ziploc bag full of slices, and then I dumped the rest of it (still on the bone) in another bag. The dishwasher is crammed full and it is running. The sink is overflowing with more dishes, the fridge is crammed, and I am trying to make the Jello thing. I have to add mandarin oranges to the Jello in 45 minutes, then pour all of that over the cream cheese part. Of course the Jello is in a HUGE pan and the cream cheese and crust part is in another HUGE pan, so that is making the fridge even more of a debacle. :sad2: I hate the kitchen. Did I mention that? I never should have gone in there yesterday.

I don't think I like my kitchen either....Jim left a cabinet door open under the sink and my thigh STILL hurts almost 12 hours later after hitting it on there!!:headache:

Finally got everything cleaned up after our company. The kids are so excited. They are trying to sleep but I can hear them chattering away.:goodvibes

Goodnight & Merry Christmas!

Glad the kids are excited!!

Deb - glad the bike arrived!!!!

Becky - I'm glad that you are finally feeling better.

I'm doing okay. No other episodes, and I've been sipping on water and ate a banana. Nicholas seems to be much better, but poor Alyssa can't shake it. Everytime she eats something she throws up. I think her poor little body is so weak from no nutrition. Plus I've got the blues about them leaving tomorrow afternoon. They don't want to go. Alyssa called her father and asked if she could stay home until Friday, then go to his house. Of course his answer was no, bribing her with presents, yada yada yada. Then she gets mad and hangs up on him. I thought that was great! I'll have to remember to ask him how it feels to get hung up on by a 6 yr. old. I feel so bad for them. I wonder at what age the courts take into account the wishes of the child? Well, enough of my drama. I don't mean to be a downer. I'm just passing time waiting for the kids to get to sleep.

Merry Christmas.

I remember that as a kid....I am sorry!! Hope the kids feel well enough to somewhat enjoy their time with their father.

My brother just called. He is setting up his webcam. He will call me back shortly once it is done installing. Then we'll have a live chat. I can't wait to see Billy, my nephew. :lovestruc

How much fun is that!!:lovestruc

that sounds lovely!!:goodvibes

what a great tradition!!

Vicki - Hope the webcam is an easy set up and you are talking to your brother and nephew soon.

It has not been an easy setup. We finally have video and audio. He is rebooting one last time to see if things will improve. The network is slow so we aren't hearing everything but I did get to see my handsome nephew! :lovestruc  We get to repeat the process with my niece & nephew tomorrow when they open their presents. Bill & his kids have theirs already because they are 12 hours ahead in Japan so Santa has already been there.

Hope you all feel better in the morning!!:goodvibes

Katrina is not feeling well. I hope she feels better in the morning. She had a really bad headache and has been sleeping for sometime now.

oh no!! I hope she feels better in the morning!!

We had a lot of our Christmas traditions to do today and we added something in the mix.

We started the day lazily....no cookies made but we do have a lot of treats to take to my grandparents so I don't feel too bad. Jim got off a little early so we went to exchange presents with our friends and then headed off to bowl. (free games....love coupons!! and our added something:goodvibes )

We then went to our traditional dinner out on Christmas Eve. Thanks to Mypoints we had $50 to spend at On the Border:goodvibes . We split 2 meals and were stuffed:lovestruc . Even after 2 virgin margaritas...one with supper and one for dinner we were able to give the server a 40% (or so) tip....he thanked us 4 times:rotfl:

We then had time to kill so we went and looked at outdoor lights and then headed to church service....now we'll go watch a Christmas movie and I will wait til the girls are asleep and Santa will fill their stockings!!

Oh, in that mix we got one package (from my mother...address was almost completely wrong) and one package that they tried to deliver while we were at the 7 o'clock service!:rolleyes1

So here is what my livingroom looks like. With flash and without. It certainly doesn't look like a lot of presents, but believe me, that's several hundred dollars worth right there. How meager!
