Tammi Sorry to hear Both your kids are still not feeling well

Deb sounds like you had a nerve wracking drive to work last night. Glad you made it safely!

Vicki happy to hear your party was a success & that you ordered your meds!

Robyn hope you are feeling better today :wizard:

Good morning :)

Good morning, DDA! And happy Christmas Eve!

Sorry that I haven't been around. In addition to the general busyness around here, dh has been on vacation for the last week. He's not really fond of the "time waster" known as the Dis boards. ;)

Have a merry Christmas, everyone!

You need a coupon, or to PAY to dump your garbage? Here, as long as you are a resident of the county dump you are dumping at there is no charge. Also, here they are LANDFILLS, not dumps. More politically correct.

One of the towns Phil lived in around Boston was that way too. You had to have trash stickers on each thing at the curb. I don't remember how much they were, but it was a couple of bucks. One sticker was good for a bag or trash and there were formulas for bigger things. Like to throw away a matress was 6 stickers or something like that.

Good morning and a very Merry Merry Christmas Eve to you all!!!

I head a call for some breakfast so I can't stay and chat for now, but I hope that you all have a wonderful wonderful day!!

Good morning...

I am feeling ok this morning. I am positive things are draining, my throat is very sore and my neck is a bit swollen and tender. I spoke with my dr and he said it's all normal. So that's good. The pain meds have knocked me for a loop but I figure that's a good thing. I haven't slept so much in my life.

Eric is keeping the girls away from me this morning, I am hunkered down in his "dungeon" where I've been since I came home yesterday.

I don't think Eric and I have too much to do to get ready for Santa's arrival, which is a good thing since Eric will be doing most of it!

Off to nap again. Merry Christmas Eve DDA!

Good morning :)

What nice sentiments. I'm afraid that the Christmas Spirit has missed me this year. I just seems that too many things have gone wrong and so many family traditions have been lost. We are still waiting for Hunter's bike to be delivered. The system shows that it has been out for delivery since 12/18. UPS now considers the package lost and needs the shipper to contact them to do a tracer, but the company is closed for the holidays :sad2: I did talk them into contacting our local distribution center to see if it might be there somewhere. They have an hour to call me back. I'm praying that the bike is just sitting there and that maybe we could just pick it up. I swear this bike is just not meant to be.

Good morning, DDA! :goodvibes

Robyn - I am glad you are doing OK!

Deb - Good luck with the bike! :wizard:

I am trying to decide if I want to try to go mail these last couple of cards. I guess if I go out I might as well buy some cream cheese, too. Hmm.

It's not freezing or wet outside so that's a good thing! :thumbsup2

Merry Christmas Eve!

The oven is full of goodies, the table is set, music on, make up & hair on (:rotfl2: ) Our family arrives at 2pm. The kids have been tracking Santa all morning on the pc & have cleaned their rooms.:goodvibes

Wishing all my DDA friends a blessed Christmas.:grouphug:

No word from UPS. I was told I would get a call within 1 hour and that was at 11 am :confused3 I think we may drive over in a few minutes. I have 2 french toast bakes sitting the the refrigerator. I did Kristine's version using maple sugar instead of cinnamon as Nick doesn't like cinnamon. I made Glynis' version too. I made a few changes though. I put down a single layer of bread then put a thin layer of bananas followed by the brown sugar mix. More bread then the batter. I used vanilla egg nog instead of milk. I'm interested to see how it will turn out.

We are off to my parent's in a few minutes. Have a great Christmas Eve.

I'm sorry about the bike. The Christmas spirit hasn't really hit here either. We aren't doing as much intentionally because the girls have needed help with school this year but I just can't even get myself to do the minimum. The girls and I also did some shopping at Thanksgiving with the sales and they knew that meant less Christmas. Mom got them the laptops early as well.

I'm hoping to start some new traditions. Katrina and I want to spend the day scrapbooking. I'm hoping we'll get Becky involved as well. She may just put her legos set together (which is the one thing that I do have to get this year).

The snow is really coming down outside. Becky, Katrina and I went shopping together this morning. It was not real nice. I got all my packages and Christmas cards mailed. I need to go back out and do some grocery shopping. We had to come home so that Becky could get ready and head to work. Katrina is going to come with me this afternoon.

We were planning on going to church for the Christmas Eve service but Chuck isn't feeling well and I'm not sure we'll want to go out again if the snow doesn't stop. It is beautiful but not something I enjoy driving in.

Hmm. Word on the Dining board is that ADRs are reverting back to 90 days. Permanently. Not sure how I feel about that. I guess I feel like it is a really good idea to hand that off to IPO, which I was planning to do anyway.

Normally I wouldn't ask but if anyone is around and has any spare pixie dust please sent it this way. John just called he is on his way home from work, but there is so much ice and it is very foggy.

Thank you.

Vicki - I hope Chuck feels better! :wizard:

I just went to mail 2 cards, buy some stamps, buy some cream cheese, and return some library books. The grocery store and the post office are in the same strip center and the parking was INSANE! :scared1: Post office was deserted, which I figured it would be since I neglected to bring that box to send back to Nike.

Got my cream cheese and popped over to the library with no trouble. I don't think I am going back out today. At least I am not planning on it.

Lots of pixie dust that John arrives home safely!! :wizard: :wizard:
I know how it is to worry about your DH driving in bad weather/dark/dodging drunks/etc.
